What's so funny? If these guys are there to seize the vehicle for non-payment, the debtor owes the loan company for any damage during recovery.

The debtor also owes for the difference between the selling price and amount still due on the initial loan, late fees, collection fees, recovery fees, processing fees, and so on.

In the end, most debtors in this situation end up still owing thousands on a vehicle they no longer own.
