This is another case of a woman wanting a man's money so she can spend it instead. Any self respecting man would kick that woman out the door for filling a court case on him. If you have a partnership between two people and one person decides to make a business decision without informing the other they're perfectly allowed to do so, as long as there's nothing in the business agreement that says they can't.

Prostitution is a totally separate law in itself. You're proposing that the legal system make him pay it back, without precedent or LAW, even in divorce, based on sheer sympathy and scorned woman's revenge. Alimony doesn't even cover this. Divorce favors women already. They are not ALWAYS due unlimited revenge.

I mean, it was a joint account and his settlement to begin with, so what is he ALLOWED to do? Are we missing some details? Perhaps they were separted or on the verge of divorce anyay? having marital problems even before the accident and possibly considering separation/divorce? Do they have an open marriage? Did the wife cheat on him at some point? There might be some extenuating circumstances. And he got over a million dollars in the settlement. Even if he spent thousands of dollars on hookers, there's still much more money left for his family anyway. Still, he sounds like a sexoholic.
