@simpsonfan13 It's just a matter of dumping a ton of money into a small block when this car has the wheel base the size of a truck haha. The big block would just make it mean.
Yep,,,, that's a chevy 350 motor. Good lookin car though. By the way,,,,, those aren't Buick rally wheels and sticking GS all over a Skylark is pointless. It disrespects the GS as well as the Skylark. Be who you are,,,,, and like it.
Okay, 7 grand for that paint job? That sounds questionable. I mean, it looks all right, but I've seen $500 paint jobs that look about the same. But hey, maybe I just have what they call an untrained eye.
@malbeazy it's not just paint, it's having the windows removed, the entire body taken down to the metal, hood removed, trunk removed, fenders removed, doors removed, all jams taken down to the metal, each piece re-aligned to fit and open/shut like new, then primer, wet sanded, block sand until every imperfection is removed. Then it gets paint... That's a restoration job, not just a paint job.
Nice car used to drive a 1969 Buick Skylark back in the 70's. The car manufacturers used real metal and not the paper aluminum small cars of today. Why does your car run loud and rough? It seems to be running a little rich. I'm a girl and me and my sisters could work on these classics. I sure miss the old Buick!
@base9ine) to do a complete strip the car without any body work or welding cost $2,000 fully painted to here in NY.. my bro paid 4,000 because he needed welding done around the windows and need the rear 1/4 welded and ground down and welded and that involves alot of time but the car is done the right way!!!
out here niggas talking about 5 just for the body work and all i need is the windows done and a little to the body. check it out on on car domain 1976 impala ( kado-u-no ) and tell me what you think
@ChickenHawkKicker its chevy motor !!! its easy to tell these engines apart buick engines are wider blocks because they have bigger stroke and buick engines have the alternator on the passenger side and the distributor is in the front of the engine and so is the oil filter ....
HOLY SHIT!! THIS IS ON MY STREET!!! Its currently on Reseda! I stopped several times to look at it! I live right down the street from where it is! I am INTERESTED!
Hey genius, those aren't bucket seats.
