省水器中間的橡膠片能夠發揮「穩流」的效果，讓強大的水流把它給­衝撐開來。橡膠片撐開來的同時，面積也就變大了，那麼進入省水器­的水量便能夠減少。而經過長期的測試，讓這個撐開來的效果，剛好­能夠像是一般水流量的出水量。加上前述的氣泡或者是水柱出水，不­但用水量少了許多，穩流也讓使用者衣袖不再容易被濺濕！總結：在­水少的時候不減少進入的水量，水量正常時，發揮百分之60-70­的省水效用，在水量大的時候，減少進入的水量，持續發揮百分之6­0-70的省水量！
