just because it's a sad ending doesn't mean the ending is not good. I think this series have a beautiful ending. They died but Gil Dong's legacy lived on like a hero. and they shot the arrow scene in the ending so nice... it practically made me bawl so much. and even if there are still crazy kings today, there will always be people like Gil Dong criticizing the government and fighting for what;'s right :) this drama is A+

I hope Sung Yuri will act in more romance comedy dramas like this because she can deliver well in this type of genre. She is funny here. Hong Gil Dong is a very good drama. OMG! I am surprised how Jang Geun Suk can act so well at such a young age. Taeyon's voice here is like cool to the ears to listen to. Overall, everything in this drama and the OSTs are very good.
