is it ok to use clarifying conditioner instead of clarifying shampoo? im currently using herbal essence clarifying shampoo but it seems to make my hair feel sooo dry, but i didnt have that experience with the conditioner :s
I'm stretching my relaxer and i would always get tangles and knots after i shampoo...so i tried the way u did it in the video and i didn't get any knots or tangles....thanks!!!..... very informative video!
hey thanks 4 the video can i plz request a tutorial on about half wigs 101 i'm clueless but would really like to try them and yours look so natural. thanks :)
hey there!!! thanks for the vid!! it informed me about clarifying and i think i need to!! however a suggestion if you dont mind.. i read ultra black hair growth 2 by cathy howse and she advised not to comb wet hair esp chemically treated.she says its easier to tear ans break because wet hair is weaker, i guess with your natural hair u learned that becuz wet nat-hair is less resilient but relaxed hair is different...you can research it,it might help
Here's a tip. Do not apply shampoo to all over your hair. Just apply it to the roots and lather it really well. While rinsing, the suds will run down the shaft of your hair to cleanse it. Shampooing is very drying to the hair so this method has kept my hair from becoming overly dry. Good luck on you repair journey
Great video and thank you for providing us with this info. I am going to check out the video on hard water and hair. I am adding this to my playlist. enjoy your week and thanks again.
I had to check if there is hard water in my area. Luckily its not in the North East. Google to make sure you know if there is hard water in your area.
i'm not a hair nazi or anything but I was just curious as to whether you use products that contain sulfates and silicones in your regimen? not that ppl. who use them can't get good results, there are women with relaxed and natural hair who use them and have really long hair....but i was just curious.
@Makeoversblissfully Weaves and wigs are not bad for your hair as long as you are taking care of YOUR hair. I have been wearing sew-ins for awhile now and my hair is thriving.
Can you list the products you used in this video? I noticed the garlic one was queen helene but i'm particularly interested in the chelating shampoo...
Thanks for the great vide, I have never seen one of these steamers. I am going to google in and find out what it does for hair. Never even knew something like that existed.
@madika1 Huetiful makes a really good steamer. I have it and it has done wonders for my natural hair. Adds a lot of moisture and says it makes your conditioner 5x more effective. I think that's the one she has cuz it looks like mine
@Makeoversblissfully Relaxed hair will always be/look thinner than natural hair. I don't think her hair looks damaged or thin. She has fine hair and yes, THAT EXISTS. So I think it is unnecessary for you to tell her to cut off all her hard work just because you say so.
thanks for the comment, I will have to leave ignorant people, Im actually tired of defending the hair on my head to people with no faces :s internet makes people far to brave, my hair looks better then it ever has and im proud :)
what do you recommend doing when experiencing shedding?, i ddnt get a lot of shedding before because my main problem was breakage but now thats sorted im noticing more long strands and i havent changed any products i use.. what else could it be and how can i combat this?
have you ever tried using biotin to improve hair growth results and if yes how did you find it? because i've just been noticing that it seems to be a good produc
@afiamanuwats- I have known several people that have used biotin including myself that ended up with a horrible case of acne. I guess it all depends on the person but I would advise anyone that wants to use biotin to seek advice from a doctor or a dermatologist.
