I'm running with TERA on this one. This game doesn't look like it has a soul, you know what I mean? I been looking at the gameplay videos all over the web on this and it just seems really systematic, slow, and nothing special. Anything unique about it?

@rjtura yeah its Cryengine...this is a good game; with the character created stuff and destructible environments...to bad it wont be here in forever lol... They intend to make release for EU/NA but tbh there is really nothing promising yet. (within 2 years id assume)

@star, lol it will be f2p at some point trust me...Where have you been; most the quality releases for f2p have started in 2011...the entire industry is headed that way now anyway. Subs will be dead in 2 years time.

Actually all of the quality mmo games are p2p, wow, swtor etc, and the ones that aren't well u still get ahead by buying stuff with IRL money anyway, it's how they trick u into it saying it's f2p

A Good MMORPG is free to play. All P2P MMORPGS will end in a time. See DC Universe, Lineage II, D&D, etc. Sadly this happens only when the game is a Sh*t. If it isn't free to play I'll not pay to play an game that will end... someday.

I hate this type of gameplay its so fucking boring.Needs toon collision fighting like Cabal online or even Blade and soul when its released.At least now theyr starting to make games like Tera online,that have this type of fighting(action rpg).I am so sick of this old dated gameplay that even console games left behind YEARS ago.

@9sunskungfu it's not out dated and the action combat system ddoesnt work with all mmos... i'm actually happy this is keep traditional because in the long run, people are more likely to stick with a game that they feel comftable with rather than a blade and soul which will boom at realse and end up with less than half the players after a month.

@kakeru444 Well i think it does,never liked this type of gameplay,its why i dont like WoW,i like the feel of realism in combat in the way a character moves not just in skills,some actual originality.Not some generic skill and game thats been copied over and over by every other MMO out there like the game i just mentioned,thats why i find this boring.You like the game and gameplay? good for you, i dont,Its been done to death already,need something new and innovative,enough said.

The only thing that puts me off this game is the combat animations. People attack faster than they can move. I'd prefer some more realistic motions than attacking left right arm foot jump spiral triple backflip kick of the wall from the ceiling black flame upper jaw cutter zombie maker in less than a second ready to be repeated 15 more times

Landscape is empty for a reason.

You can build pretty much anywhere, so don't be surprised if in few weeks somewhere in those empty fields a player village will come up :)

This gameplay looks really promising.

'Essentially, we'll be able to build houses, farms, forests, stuff, marij-- I hope for fishing - with the new graphics on that. We'd be fighting giant pike-like fishes.
