  • Hi everyone,

I won the WFD competition this year in Austin, TX and I won the fastest hands division.

I managed to get 1194 single strokes in 1 minute which labels me as the new 16 and under record holder and THIRD FASTEST DRUMMER in the world.

If you're interested, check out my videos.

    Thanks,

    Tom

  • Scopions84 is the most pathetic troll on youtube. Read his channel page and go to the comments section. It reads like a lynch mob. If anything this is slow for Matt Smith.

  • I just hung out and jammed with this kid at my jazz camp. He is a beast.

  • Awesome display of high strokes and power for any age.

  • haha. i eat lunch with this guy. GO MATT!

  • yeh he goes to ma school hes ma homie

  • Most impressive part is the stick height and power. Had to of done marching snare drum. Great job.

  • Matt is awesome yea. He plays in the Wind Ensemble and Jazz band at our school. Im lucky I know him.

  • I heard today that he passed Art Verdi for 3rd place all time at the 2007 WFD Championships in Anaheim (1119 singles).

  • A lot of pressure for a young guy to handle. And he's smiling.

  • HOLY SHIT

  • Holy shit is right. This kid blows Jotan Afandor away.

  • This kid is f-ing amazing!

  • I hear this was his slowest time of the competition. He got over 1100 a lot and got credit for an 1109. That put him in the top 4 just behind Art Verdi.
