@friggingbomb88 Not normally. They have enclosed cars to protect their freight and people. They are heavy enough without adding weight. The more weight there is, the more the roadbed will be degraded eventually. Not even during WWII were there armored trains in Europe. The workers just had to duck, dodge or jump if there was a threat from fighter planes, tanks, etc. My best friend's Dad worked on the railroad in Italy (I believe it was) during WWII.

Now, I wish this could be on a server and have multiplayer. If it had a way to assign track sections, switches, signals, and other things for either Train Dispatcher 3.5 or RW making a small dispatcher software. THAT would be cool. The only difference is you would be able to select which server you could be on.

Maybe I'm just asking for a lot, but I know I'm not the only one asking for this either.

@beepIL In train simulator you have to focus one thing pay attention in front of you. You have look out of incoming trains and other stuff in a plane you dont really have that restricition

@beepIL it actually can be very complicated. hooking cars takes extreme care, you have to control the speed extremely well expecially in snow weather because it can derail real easy and ect. pirate it or another train game and you will see what i mean

First time I saw a train I was about 3 years old at a rail crossing.My dad carried me there because I was already keen on trucks and cars. Then I saw first time a train.It was the one of the first times in my life when i felt i could fly. The massive grey-blue LDE2100 blew by me shaking the ground, followed by 4 regional carriages rised up the dust.Now I make videos of trains crossing by , and feel the same sensation every Time. @MeetAqua Yes because the team focues A LOT on North America this time. Unlike RS, RW, and RW2 where a majority of the content was European. There is new stuff for all regions. But Railworks had to advertise for the US Market because the European market had already been familiarized with Railworks and what its about. Americans on the other hand, based on RW1&2 trailers & Media, were given the Idea its a European based simulator, and clearly it's not.

Would have been better if I had directed, and produced this. Don't get me wrong, I liked this trailer. Especially the montage of footage part.

I would've started the video out with a Fade in of a train hobbiest standing in front of a train at a rail yard telling the exact same story. But then merge into the Game footage part shortly after he begins. This would have given the trailer a much more personal feeling. Try to imagine what I mean and you will go AWWW

I was waiting for my dad, who was and engineer for the CFR of Romania near the railway station of Cimpulung Est. Because of the surrounding mountains, i heared my dad aproaching the station, with the sound of the horn filling the valley as the train got nearer and nearer. The massive LE5100kW locomotive hauling 15 wagons came into sight, the ground started to shake and dust to rise. I fell into instant love, and now i'm also a engineer, that designs locomotives.

It's not just American trains. They just happened to show them in the trailer. If you look at the photos on it's FB page, it shows a variety of international steam & diesel engines, just like the previous RailWorks.

I love Railworks' look and am excited for Railworks 3. My only issue is the lack of free rolling stock models, free scenery, even better would be the ability to set up AI trains to pick up and deliver goods and then have them repeat the process.

Or, just simply run around in a never ending loop of pick up and deliver. All in all I'm excited but... I don't want to get too excited. Been burned with to man other train simulators.

i guess i could lower some settings to compensate for the 400 mhz deficency in cpu power but what to adjust is something i cant decide on lighting is a must so im keeping that water i could care less about as most of the routes i drive are nowhere near any water so that can go to low but what else. anybody have an idea what i should lower to medium or lower to get better performance with the new version?
