Of all the interviews ive seen of him, ive not once ever heard him talk about his childhood, its so strange to hear him pretty much say ''yeah, my dad used to beat me up and id lay in bed at night scared he'd come in and batter me'', no wonder him and Liam were both so fucked up :(. It mustve effected them both so badly :(.

And those videos about Liam not being allowed to interview and the one he does get and he's at the swiming pool. I dont think abuse ahs anything to do with that attitude. Anyone can be like that. @MultiLoveMetal Liam rarely if ever got beaten by his dad. He protected by his age. He was 10 or 11 to Noel's 15-16 when Peggy finally left their dad. Plus the oldest brother, Paul, says that Noel got more beatings than anyone else because he would draw the wrath of his father rather than let him beat on his mother or brothers. I think you're right it did affect Noel. He once talked about it and said that it made him rely on others less. I think it made him harder to know and have a thicker skin

@mrlennon81 He is a funny intelligent and articulate man and a credit to England. I consider Liam to be an embarrasment. His arrogance is crass and self congratulatory (and undeserved) where as Noel has a loveable self apprasial that you would never begrudge him. After that one acoustic version of Don't look Back in Anger where at the end he just says "You may clap". Class.

Also he is funny as fuck with Russell Brand on the radio 2 podcasts
