Here is what I know...Starts w/ toe heel swivels, then to jive walks, a couple chase's, change of place, Change of hands behind back, Rolling off the arm X 2, some turn (?), Stop & Go X 2, basic,

A version of the windmill..?, American Spin dble, American Spin single, Windmill (?), Spanish Arms single & dble, Change of place, Windmill into Chicken Walks both sides, Change of place turns. Hope that helps!

If this were a competition they'd be dancing a lot faster and probably better -when you're a pro I guess it can be hard to try to dance badly. But they're teaching a lesson for the laymen so they have to slow it down so people can see the steps clearly.

Learn your dances. This is BALLROOM jive, hence the styling. If you want the other stuff, check out rock and roll or Boogie Woogie. Anyway, dances develop over time. They're living, so they branch out, change, adapt, go back to their roots.

@SpeedTriple59 it's origins ARE jive, it's also done 5x faster then this in comps. This couple creamed any other couple that came their way, except Brian and Carmen. It's not lindy,swing or jitterbug. It has the influences but of course just like all latin ballroom dances have been upped to a more difficult and classy way. Samba is the same way, both samba and jive are totally different than 10-15 years ago.

This is a Jive, a competition form of rock. In Swing, the dancers don't lift the legs. They dance with flat feet; therefore, they spend much less energy while dancing.

this is a slow jive. international style jive can be danced to music like music above to "Great Balls of Fire" by Jerry Lewis. slow jive shows more bouncy actions. while fast jive is more "exciting" in some people's eyes. this music can also be dance as a swing. the interpretation of music is different.

You are right! Normally competitive Jive is about 176 BPM (44 means PM). This one is 33 MPM, but this video is a Jive lesson, it is easier to follow the steps and figures though.

there is absolutely no way to learn dancing with such technique by looking at videos. You have to practice A LOT and need direct instructions by a qualified person spotting mistakes. These video can only help in improving the most advanced stuff like arms and facial expression
