He performed on the Beatles hit "Get Back" and the single said "The Beatles with Billy Preston". That was the first time someone else shared the spotlight with the Beatles on the record label. He also performed on the Abbey Road and Let It Be albums.

Out-a-Space is one of my favorite funk cuts of all time. Billy was always a great musician and genius on keys. Isn't that George and Louis Johnson in the backup band? I know at one time they were part of his touring band during the early '70's when they were still in their teens.
