  • Has the same beat as all his other songs although this is so sad I still love his sound.

  • I started learning this on the guitar, the opening riff that is. Thought I was doing good. Then I watched this. I'll never be as good as Brian Setzer. XD

  • Look at a piture of Brian Setzer durin his prime in the 80's an look at a piture of Eddie Chocran in the 50's see a resemblence?

  • Still the same pleasure to watch this session !! thanks Deuce !

i think this was the best team he ever had... sorry for the new band (i love you guys !) but this was MURDER !!!!

    Go Brian !

  • It is a gorgeous guitar. Gretsch Dou Jet in silver sparkle.

This is still one of my favorite Setzer songs. Can't be beat.

  • this guitar is so beautifull!! OMG

  • Nice upload of a kick ass song and a kick ass musician

  • he is an electric Beethoven! Tio write that and play it like that, he is a real musical genuis of our times!

  • i fucken love this song

  • i'm gunna go right ahead and try to start an argument by calling this psychobilly, NICE PSYCHOBILLY MR SETZER! heheheh

  • @StoriesOfBiceilsFord I will partially agree with you. Though, he and the orchestra play a broad spectrum of genres all fused into one; Swing, Jazz, Blues,Surf, Rockabilly, Psychobilly. Its far to hard to classify their music. Each song brings to the table elements of all of those genres. Some of those genres even being combinations of each other. haha. I would classify this song as 'PsychobillySurfSwing" :P

  • @seaniscoolcool That was the point i was getting at, the boundary between genres is so blurred sometimes that it's almost impossible to draw the a line between them, so why not mix it up :P

  • @StoriesOfBiceilsFord Fair enough. Party on, brother and/or sister!

  • @StoriesOfBiceilsFord He said that all of his music is a combination of old school rockabilly and punk. That's the very definition of psychobilly.

  • @geezer6970 i've never heard him say that, it just happens when you play these styles aggressively. I like that about it, you can find the perfect midpoint that you like

  • @StoriesOfBiceilsFord It was some random interview he did I found on Youtube. But yeah, that was his initial inspiration, but when you incorporate it into an orchestra you have to use a lot more horn influenced genres as well. The dude's just a genius who can do anything. End of story.

  • @geezer6970 he's god isn't he? he's mastered every style he's learnt and infused it with his infinate coooool :)

  • @StoriesOfBiceilsFord Yes. He....is.....god. Sucks that he's coming to San Diego soon, but I'm not 21 yet. I'm probably his biggest fan down here and I can't even see him. Oh well, next time.

  • @geezer6970 I miss out on so many gigs because I'm not 18 yet, it's a shame a lot of the english psychobilly bands are breaking up and I haven't been able to see them yet!

  • i could listen to this album over and over.... and i do <3

  • yeah this rocked-i was there-it was sponsored by bmw, i'm in a lot of shots here-right by the base player-makes you wonder where all the years go. this song is bad ass.

  • good dam this song is so sick i would alwasy be hauling ass well listing to this song

  • Badass

  • badass song it cant be called a song... someone better invent a word for songs that are so good...

  • so true my favourite BSO original

  • @DarchVillain I think badass covers it pretty well. Bitchin' doesn't quite fit it. maybe Bitchin' plus Badass!

  • Great song. At 2:59 the rest of the guys forget to shout "SWITCHBLADE!" so he does it for them. Too funny. I'm sure they got an earful later. Setzer makes what he's doing look so easy...but it sure isn't. Thanks for the post.
