Hey guys, I discovered that 40,000 PSI or even 100,000 PSI is not an area that oil engineers (drilling) are unfamilar with. Google "High Pressure Equipment," they have oil components and other valves that can deal with pressure up to 160,000 PSI! Perhaps the "PSI" concern that commentators have is a bit over blown? Hope this eases some concerns. By no means am I understating the other factors, such as harmful gas's, damage to local's, marine and other habitat, etc..

They say their scientists worst case scenario is 60K barrels, thats less that one barrel per second. Come on now, my best educated guess is closer to 6-8 barrels per sec. = 16-20 million gallons a day.

as per below, i was stating the opening is about 2 foot opening, if only 3 1/2 feet of oil in the pipe is pushed out per second that would equal very close to the volume of one barrel of oil/42 gallons, look at the billowing cloud, it could be pushing 10 barrels out per second. i saw that and quickly did the math and thought "Holy F---!" It doesnt take a nasa scientist to see IMMEDIATELY that there are millions of gallons gushing.
if only one barrel a second = 60 per minute = 3600 per hour = 86400 barrels per day times that by 42 = 3,628,800 gallons a day, thats if only 1 barrel is flowing per second, there has got to be at least 5-10 barrels gushing out each and every second! 18-30 million gallons a day!

She had been out in the yard for a few minutes. This wasn't the heat...she said she suddenly felt dizzy and had trouble breathing. I live 30 minutes from her and had the same thing happen. Who's going to clean the beaches, wildlife, and our lungs?

Hey guys, I discovered that 40,000 PSI or even 100,000 PSI is not an area that oil engineers (drilling) are unfamilar with. Google "High Pressure Equipment," they have oil components and other valves that can deal with pressure up to 160,000 PSI! Perhaps the "PSI" concern that commentators have is a bit over blown? Hope this eases some concerns. By no means am I understating the other factors, such as harmful gas's, damage to local's, marine and other habitat, etc..

I`m glad to see I wasnt the only one thoroughly annoyed by Alex`s interruptions. Nothing wrong a show host knowing WHEN THE TIME IS RIGHT to interrupt an overtalkative guest. But hey, this time he went too far, i simply stopped viewing this interesting video because of this annoyance. I would be so sad if he mean to get even worse on these interruptions. The guy was making excelent points and Jones jumped in in a rude way to add things that either the guy would say or are irrelevant.

They say their scientists worst case scenario is 60K barrels, thats less that one barrel per second. Come on now, my best educated guess is closer to 6-8 barrels per sec. = 16-20 million gallons a day.

as per below, i was stating the opening is about 2 foot opening, if only 3 1/2 feet of oil in the pipe is pushed out per second that would equal very close to the volume of one barrel of oil/42 gallons, look at the billowing cloud, it could be pushing 10 barrels out per second. i saw that and quickly did the math and thought "Holy F---!" It doesnt take a nasa scientist to see IMMEDIATELY that there are millions of gallons gushing.

She had been out in the yard for a few minutes. This wasn't the heat...she said she suddenly felt dizzy and had trouble breathing. I live 30 minutes from her and had the same thing happen. Who's going to clean the beaches, wildlife, and our lungs?

There are many powerful explosives besides nukes that could be used to prevent another environmental disaster. Concerning Alex Jones this is kind of funny. At first when this oil spill took place he was like, "it's an inside job! They didn't secure the security devices that could stop this! It was on purpose!" But now this Lindsey Williams guy is saying that they simply drilled too much, too far deep & released an amazing amount of pressure that couldn't be stopped by the best of efforts & technology. So it seems to me that as always these corporate goons ignore the warnings & common sense & here we go.

@XpressForumsClick Even if carbon emissions were bad (it is not), carbon tax does only very little to reduce it. It does however make a lot of money available, the losers are the average consumer while the winners are the big companies and governments.
If they really wanted to reduce carbon emissions, why don't they make it cheaper to use sustainable energy instead? Ill tell you why, because that would not make them any money....
