I never wanted Favre on the Vikings to begin with. I always thought the guy was overrated and the media has been making excuses for him. In '09, AP had major fumbling issues and took the heat for not taking care of the ball. In 2010, Favre was going pick 6 crazy and it was because Sidney Rice was on the sidelines or because he wasn't getting enough time in the pocket or it was his elbow/ankle/wrist or pics of his crotch causing distractions. This int was the most selfish act I've ever seen.

It was painful to watch. I have never, EVER, in 20+ years of watching football watched a team leave a quarterback THAT unprotected. And in New Orleans we've had some pretty bad offensive lines over the years. I've never seen a quarterback EVER take that kind of physical beating and still be competitive at the end of the game.

Ed Donatell, the D-coordinator at the time, wanted an all out blitz and Sherman told him "no, I want a zone defense." Donatell then got fired during that off-season. Hope T A&M is enjoying average coaching. They could have beaten the Giants had Favre thrown it to Ryan Grant right in front of him.
