  • RIP JOE

  • this is what boxing is all about, two of the best toe 2 toe

  • The2pacproductionz: Ali stated sev'l. x's in late 70's - mid 80's, in i-views w/ Cosell, M. Albert, Ring Magazine, etc., tht he lost 2 Frazier in 71'..U Ali-apologists delude yorslvs in2 thnkng draw/Ali winnng close. Ali HIMSELF sed Joe "whuppd me", "yeah, he won the 1st one, he did". 11-4 most accrte score, given the powr punches, Ali's stallng tactics, 2 10-8 rnds (11&15), & relentlss aggression w/ much hardr lft hooks/body shots. Me? 10-4-1, Smokin' Joe. Let it go. Your man did...

  • FUCK UFC

  • respect to joe frazier who fought with one eye and then respect to muhammad ali who took all those punches from smokin joe and i really think this fight is a draw

  • When you take into consideration the magnitude of the event, the quality of the bout, and the dramatic ending, I think you'd have to call this the greatest fight of all times.

  • i took up boxing, after watching this fight with my dad ! we have a dvd in our home i aint muhammed ali or frazier, but this fight gave me guts, passion and heart for boxing ! both the fighters rock ! cheers to both of them !

P.S its a sad sight to see muhammed ali these days, parkinsons has ravaged him :(

  • back when boxing wasnt bought and paid for. if this was now ali would have won this fight. boxing is so bad now

  • R.I.P. Big Joe! You be the Gretest!

  • where can i get the dvd with the whole fight of this first one they had, please someone to come forward, thanks ANTHONY

  • i was watching american gangster last night of Frank Lucas.

  • Rest in Peace Frazier, Credit to Boxing.

  • Frazier.... A Legend.... No More No Less.

Thanks for the memories Joe, Rest in eternal peace

  • ali un buffone, che per quante botte ha preso da smoki joe gli è venuto alzheimer

Ali of a buffoon, which took many beatings by Smoke Joe came alzheimer

  • Frazier looks alot like tyson in this fight

  • R.I.P Joe Frazier. You were a beast if there ever was one.

  • Its sad that Joe frazier has passed on and a great loss to boxing. my thoughts are with the frazier family today.

  • good

  • Great match

    R.I.P joe frazier

  • This is why MMA will never be what boxing was. They dont have any fights as epic as this. These two had 3 against each other!

  • Heavens gates are now as safe as they can be

  • @moooka200 - why do people say dumb shit like this when people die?

  • I'm excited just watching this. I'm getting goosebumps and it happened 40 years ago.

  • RIP JOE FRAZIER great fighter great man

  • R.I.P Joe "SmokingJoe" Frazier

  • Frazier use to talk about how sick Ali is. Now Frazier is in for the fight of his life. Life is full of twist and turns.Hope pull through Joe.

  • It was just announced that you have cancer of the liver Joe. You earned the title of World Champion. But, to me, you will always be "Smoken" Joe. Prayers outbound your way.

  • It is well that war is so terrible, else we should grow too fond of it.

-Robert E. Lee, January, 1863, before the slaughter at Fredericksburg.

  • I like that Smokin' Joe did not wear the white trunks he was entitled to as champion. I like that Ali did not dance -- he may not have been able to at this point -- but instead relied on handspeed, brains, and balls.

For me, Ali will always be the champ.

  • Ali el mas grande del boxeo.

  • after the 1st two rds i have the fight Ali up 1rd to 1 even rd. I thought the fisrt rd was even and the 2nd going to ali. Frazier has great head movement and some very solid body work, his also being very aggressive always coming forward. But i thnk Ali is landing more shots and showing a great jab nice combo punching as well. Very competitive 1st 2 rds. I could see sum pple have Ali up 2rds - 0

  • 2-0 Ali Frazier getting in those left hooks but Ali is landing more shots.

  • Man between this fight and "Rumble In the Jungle" it really shows that Ali liked to grab people. He was a great fighter but damn the refs gotta intervene a lot with him.

  • @eternal0star part of his style, he fought on the outside so when he got caught inside he was out of his comfort zone so grabbed..

  • stop talking

  • Damn if I'd taken all those bodyshots of Fazier my ribs would be completely broken and my organs would be smashed!

  • these two guys definitely went at it.

  • Wow almost as good as David Gaye vs Padimir Bitchsko

  • ali badly underestmated frazier in this fight, im surprised ali wasnt clean out considering the sheer amount of left hooks he recieved during the bout, excellent fight

  • is it just me or does fraiser look like he's having a fit for most of this

  • of the 3 Ali/Frazier fights,this one's my favourite.....

  • best fight ever

  • Man, I wish i was born back then...everything is so cool ...that's one badass microphone...

  • If you look into this fight deeply, Frazier spent 3 weeks in the hospital after this fight even though he won. Amazing, if you think about it this victory came at a big cost for Frazier,he only won 5 more bouts and lost 4 after this victory. Even though Frazier won Ali did big damage on him in this fight. The knockdown alone gave Frazier this fight. Amazing rivalry. As good as this fight was Thrilla in Manila is a better fight.

  • THE NEXT MUHAMMAD ALI GO TO SEARCH AND TYPE IN PHILLIP MACKINTOSH! THIS KID IS AMAZING

  • @themagicbong theres no next muhammad ali sorry to say...

  • boxing is awesome, and it really gets you in shape. its too bad MMA is taking over. im not saying i hate it. i love MMA, right now more that boxing because right now in boxing no one wants to fight cause everyone is a premadonna.

  • @imhungry4444 i'm a boxing fan but you got that right, boxing's full of businessmen now

  • @imhungry4444 yes everybody wants to stay the champion and is cherry picking

  • The Fight of the Century.

  • Truly the BEST boxing rivalry, if not the best sports rivalry...period! Two fighters who were the epitome of their respective styles (out-fighter vs swarmer) and always gave the fans their money's worth. Watching Ali & Fraiser fight has always been like watching poetry in motion to me...absolutely beautiful!

  • @MegaArchangel7

I agree, I think it is the best sports rivalry ever, the reason being, it consists of two individuals who personally hated each rather than two teams that have a historic rivalry like the Yankees and Red Sox.

  • the greatest gladiators!!

  • Ali ALWAYS grabbed fighters behind the head and although he would get warned a few times the Ref's never took points away from him. It's an illegal tactic and Ali always got away with it. I always hated that about him.

  • That isn't the hiss of the punch that an exhale with every punch for power.

  • @Mellowcanuck33 It's not for power - it's used by boxers to exhale and remove and carbon dioxide in the body. If you don't exhale CO2, you're holding your breath which will be bad for your stamina/gas in the later rounds.

  • @vmfelix You're half right but you're supposed to hold your breath for a few seconds in the corner to slow down your heart rate. Exhaling like that punching is done for a few reasons but it does help with the snap in your punches.

  • @capablemachine I do deep breaths rather than 'holding' them - I think we know what we mean haha! But yeah, you're also partly right, it helps in throwing punches but only if used properly. I spar with some fellas who exhale before they throw the punch, making them vulnerable to counterpunches.

  • @vmfelix Yes I agree, peace.

  • @Mellowcanuck33 it also tenses up your mussles to prepare for a counter punch

  • Let's not forget what a man JOE was that night...oh what a man he was that night! I revere Ali, but this was Joe Frazier's night

  • This is without a doubt one of the greatest fights ever. Two of the greatest boxers that have ever lived. Joe Frazier won fair and square though.

  • u can hear the wind HISS at every punch!!!

they don't fight like that anymore!!

  • @Omar2788 No one punches that fast! lol

  • Is that Gil Clancy in Ali's corner during the introductions?
