The late 70s early 80s was a wierd / volatile era with culture clashes popping up all over England. Being miced race and from Leeds groups like these went some way to take the spotlight off all that shit where I came from.
i love is big change by the later 70s best band but 2 tone on later pass days is a big vibe no band by 70s did fo ska n 2tones ... is like jfk n martin l lurthe king doing jam together.......
I LOVE THIS BAND 2TONES BACK N DAYS IS MY PARENTS DO FOR LOVE NO TONES IS MIX ... ONE TONE MIX N TURN IS ONE .... LONDON N NY n thinghis going on day by day time pass and things change but 2 tones istilll stand....
This brings back some good memories, I was still an apprentice not earning much when this was released but still managed to get out every Friday night wearing my blue stay press trousers and a leather box jacket that cost me nearly two weeks wages.
Big yourself up Jack. Didn't realize you had a few of these old Ska/2 Tone tracks up on your channel. 'Mirror In The Bathroom' has to be my fav of theirs. 10/10 ;))
The days before racial tensions, this is when everyone was just enjoying the music and having fun, the Beat and Madness just played great music to make poeple happy,
Lets see a revival of this great music and happy music like Bob Marley, its what the world needs right now,
Oh man, I love this.

ay I recommend the book 'A Concise Guide To Eighties Music' by Karl Vorderman. The author is a big fan of this track.
