It's a shame the iPhone 3Gs gets overheated just by being used and can't take temperatures under 0 degrees Celsius and above 35 degrees Celsius.. The fact that it gets overheated just by being used and is as weak against temperatures is the only thing that holds me back from buying one.. Shame on Apple for making it that weak.. (I'm no fanboy, I've had iPhone since the beginning and still love my 3G - iPhone is the best, but 3Gs have pathetic weaknesses)

There are reports of overheating but I bet it's like less than 1% of the 3GSs made. When the 3G came out many people reported problems too and it too has overheating issues.

Yea the overheating is b/s. We went from Vancouver to Palm Desert in Cali and my brother's iphone battery cooked and he needs a new iphone. At 49-50 degrees (120-ish in F), my bb storm worked better than ever. My brothers iphone 3gs? Fried the connectors and melted the insides. Ooops apple?

what program are you using to keep the aspect ratio on the 3GS footage? When I upload it to iMovie it squashes it and it looks like crap, which is a shame because it looks great when you play the raw clip on the iPhone or in Quicktime.

This upgrade was so small that the next one is certainly going to be huge.

And i mean huge.

Ive seen some leaked phones coming up from Sony Ericsson and Nokia, and both companies are releasing touchscreen open source extremly high powered phones with 8+mp cameras.

The only way apple will be able to stay in the game is with a huge upgrade.
