Well, after seeing this, I guess there's only one question as to Nick Spangler's future;
Which will he land first; a leading role in a Broadway musical, or the male lead in a new movie-musical (like if they decided to turn South Pacific into a movie)?
@ztslovebird hes the understudy for Elder Price in Book of Mormon and was off-bway as Matt in The Fantasticks so i guess that answers your question.....
Great job! My high school is putting on this musical right now, and I love this number! You have a wonderful voice-- and I loved the hand holding with Millie--so cute!
I'm jealous man!!! You were absolutely phenomenal my freind!!! When I played Jimmy it was my second lead ever and my third time singing on stage. I have come a long way but have even further to go!!! Best of wishes man!!! What are you doing right now?
Great performance. I wasn't sure in the beginning as he didn't seem to relate to the scene well. He was staring out at the skyline and I thought he should have been more involved, pointing to the people "way down below" but then he really pulled out a marvelous performance. He has a fabulous voice and he's not bad to look at, either. His strength of character really shone through and made for a thud-worthy Jimmy.
I know. And this is his account. Hes probably being wierded out by our conversation right now. I think hes really buff too(Go watch the recording of Broadway @ bryant park). Maybe its just me...guys that can sing is just so amazingly hot.
lmao Very nice. Well, hopefully his male ego is firmly intact and he's simply really flattered. I agree about the singing though I think talent in general is simply attractive.
I know. I mean how many guys out there can really sing like that? And I dont mean REALLY good operatic singers, just young musical theatre actors/singers. And what exactly is male ego? I hope he is just flattered and not wierded out by us....well mainly me.
