  • Please listen to George Michael's version for how this Beatles classic should be sung.

  • This is weak, thin, and pathetic. Sing from your diaphragm, Faith.

  • painful 2 hear this butchered cover , let george michael do it again.

  • Hey, this beats the hell out of how she ruined Janis Joplin's signature song.

She totally missed the point on that one. But, she was young then. Stuck to the original arrangement for the most part this time.

  • To be completely honest, I don't see how this is much different than the original. The way you cats make it out, you would've thought that she did a speed metal rendition of the song; she didn't. This is great.

  • 8 people doesn´t understand good music

  • I didn't think it was possible to make one of the most beautiful and poignant musical masterpieces of all time sound bad ... thank you Faith Hill. Jeeeesh.

  • The first time i watched this a couple months ago, i wasnt crazy about it. But after listening to it again, i like it a lot more. Its just a shame that people are comming down on her for this song performance. She isnt the original artist so its not going to sound the way your used to hearing it. Paul picked her to sing this song, so he obviously likes her. You have to respect the fact that she didnt try to make a copy of this song cuz that could have turned into a bad copy. Good job Faith.

  • Good version and she puts some emotion into it.

  • Don´t know what´s with all the negative comments. She´s gorgeous, she´s got a great voice and she did the song in her very own way. Sir Paul gave her the approval look @ 3:04. The best cover of the night if you ask me.

  • This is good but it's not Paul. Her voice is to upbeat for the song. Paul's voice has aged perfectly and he puts the proper emotion and pain into this song when he sings it...I just don't feel any connection to this version. Usually, Paul's version can get me pretty emotional.

  • @cannonballmishell Couldn't think of anything clever to say huh?

  • Firstly, only Macca can do justice to the vocals because only He really knows the meaning of the words and only He can feel the feeling that is supposed to be felt because he wrote and composed the song. One of the most beautiful aspects of the original is the melancholy, the feeling of lament. This version is way too peppy!

Secondly, I miss Spector's 'Wall of Sound', this cover could really have done with a string section.

  • This material, this gig and all of the videos has had zero coverage in the UK and i'm wondering why. The Stevie Wonder performance was fantastic :) Macca has had his songs celebrated before the president and nothing, no news over here folks.. haha ridiculous.

  • um stop being mean! Sir Paul himself picked her to sing that song so SHUT UP!

  • @shabanasks and she sucked. so what

  • She is very attractive and I am sure talented..but this did not work..

  • AWEFUL

RIP JOHN LENNON AND GEORGE HARRISON

  • Don't be a dick-head just because you're a Beatles fan. It's ok to like both. This is an incredible vocal performance

  • Pretty average.

I'd rather listen to the Beatles

  • WHO THE FUCK DOES SHE THINK SHE IS!?!?!

  • @pptimee What you mean?

  • Outstanding!

  • Outstanding!

  • I strongly dislike Faith Hill, I think she's a phony on several fronts... but I like this performance of hers.. Maybe it's because it's not her song and is honoring Sir Paul. I think she did well here.

  • she's dying to bust a move...but is containing herself! lol

    LOVE HER SO SO MUCH!!
