Saw her in San Diego years ago. She was in full garb and looked stunning! It was hard to believe that her voice hadn't changed since Motown days. She started to sing one particular song and the drummer was off on the back beat so she stopped right in the midst of singing and yelled- "Stop, stop...now start again with the right tempo!" Talk about a glorious diva!! She wanted to get it perfect- and she DID!! Saw her on Oprah with her kids this year and she's still amazing! A LIVING LEGEND!!

This one of the most memorable moments in my teen life, July 21, 1983.

We didn't have Showtime when it aired but was lucky watch clips of the concert on CNN regarding the controversy during the event. Seeing this particular clip bring good a good feeling in my heart. The images of Diana looking like a goddess in the rain with the wind for added effect.

I have the same concert on VHS from HBO, it funny how it messes up due to the rain. it was a good concert, i was looking out my window in new jersey in the direction of new yor, and there was this large rain cloud over new york it was weird.
