The fact of it is, Twisted Metal is hard to do, because it's about modified cars blowing each other up. What part of that code are you having trouble cracking?

Green Screen would not help, it would just make it look terrible.

Yes, somebody could make a trailer using the characters. But Twisted Metal is about the competition itself, and Calypso, more so than the characters.

I get what you're saying but some trailers are entirely character based, the characters in Twisted Metal are unique enough and have enough backstory to expand upon with a short film. It's far more imaginative to create something like that than do the obvious.

It doesn't matter if it's good or bad, it's the fact someone has taken the time and effort because if a Hollywood movie ever was made it would be dire like the Resident Evil movies, made by people with only money in mind.

This is probably the best fan-made trailer using video clips that I've ever seen. If you hadn't seen any of the movies in this video, you might have believed it was legit at first.

I'm unsure of who would fit well in the role, but perhaps have the one A-Lister star play "Calypso", and maybe keep the role to a minimum. The story would follow the same plot as the games, but Calypso is more of an unknown benefactor, heard & not seen. once the movie get closer to the end (with a "winner"), you then see him walking out of the shadows.
