'Kay, in a nutshell, gravity pulls heavier elements to the center of the planet. Lighter elements float overtop. the crust of the earth is only about 60 miles thick and rests on a partially molten mantle which is made of heavier elements. Molten rock is constantly belching its way upward through weak points in the crust. The crust is split into plates because of what's going on beneath it. The activity between the plates pushes plates apart at 1 end & causes plates to collide on the other.
"Growing Earth" theory?!? Continental drift was PROVEN by the end of the 1960's. Plate tectonics were part of general knowledge by this time as well. The Earth did grow early in its history as it was accreting from dust and debris into a planet but this was billions of years before the birth of the continents. Study some basic geology and don't fall for this Growing Earth bullshit. Probably being advertised by the same people pushing for the equally ludicrous "Intelligent Design" thing.
@row619 200 million years ago when the dinosaurs lived, all the continents were one massive continent, Pangea. Over the years though, Pangea broke into bits, thus forming the current earth we know and love.
@nitojo7 The "growing Earth" theory is being pushed by some ex-comic-book writer who logs on here under hundreds of false aliases to promote his unscientific bullshit.
@MoskowFreak1111 The pressure created from earths internal heat, pushes the land upward. example valcanos that started as underwater mountains and grow to become the Hawaii islands.
@nitojo7 ummm, i don't think that can create mt everest, and volcanoes that created hawaii just ejected more and more lava untill it got above the sea level....... newb
@MoskowFreak1111 Mt. St. Helen exploded in a volcanic blast and its part of the rocky mountains. I dont think hugh continents can floot or crawl. If you look at the planet Jupiter its contents are 98% the same as the Sun's make up. Everyone knows that large bodies like the sun grows do to its gravity exerting hellish internal pressures, I think this explains Jupiters size and that All bodies in space grow as they get older.
@mkz4321 More sense of humor? I have build my life with that, and really, you have a big problem, i dont said it like: ''Hey you fucking idiot pangea exist'' i just said it because maybe you dont know that...
Maybe i must get some sense of humor, but you must learn to relax....
@kevincanary your build your life upon a sense of humor? thats not how you do it...that means your life is a joke...logical fail, and also, "learn to relax?" well apparently you just have to take this april fools joke so seriously and refute my saying of this is just a joke. so whos the one that needs to chill the fuck down? stop shoving this pangea shit down my throat, i know it exists bitch. fuck off. what a boring ass trying to tell me this shit exists and go back to fucking ur mom.
How planet earth looked like bofore the formation of oceans ?

By the extreme amount of lag in this video, it's believable that dinosaurs had computers

I can't believe that anyone can take the growing earth stuff seriously. All sorts of things just would not work if this were true.
