I thought you compared my playing to that of the great stars within the accordion-business ;-)
Speed is just a matter of training and time you will invest into your playing. My time to do so is seriously restricted and I want (no,I currently do) learn other instruments (panflute, trumpet, flute, clarinet, percussion). The accordion and keyboard are still my main instruments, but I want to walk new ways, not necessarily on accordion. I have to split my time.
Music is a wonderful world - there is something for each and every taste. We only need to open our mind for inspiration and emotion. There is noone on earth who can say not be affected, touched by music or dancing (what is very close together).
Rhythm and melody accompany mankind since we exist, it is within our evolution, our ancestors (forefathers) our history, our mind, our soul.... deep inside of all of us. A global language, a wonder....
Vielen Dank.
My camera is giving some technical problems to me and i don't really like to buy a new one because cutting and handling those videos takes an awfull lot of time (not only those here, but the private ones as well). The (my) main purpose here is the sound - i don't want to be a "showman" or "actor". So, I never understood why people really need to see a video on music... just because of smiling face ? What else do you need it for ? Please, tell me.
I believe that a (good) still-picture can be more informative and gives time to the viewer to watch the details and receive specific information about history, used registers and some other background information. I do like those picture-clips more and more. I even do prefere them against videos !
Do you really want to say, I should go back and produce those boring videos with a bellows-shaking actor ? (smile)(joke)
Now, it's up to you to tell me the truth about clips and videos !
Not to be mistaken: if your aim is to learn from my videos, i can understand your desire. Honestly, i am quite sure, that just going by watching videos is a hard and probably not the right way. Everybody has got his personl (own) style somehow (not always the correct one, included myself). It's better to consult a professional/educated teacher or at least a good book or better a teaching-video/DVD.
Don't rely, don't trust on other players ! You might catch a wrong way of playing here easy.
Just to show, how serious I take your comment and to do a favour to those who really want to see my playing, i will try to make a new video (just one !) with a view onto the keyboard and - maybe - onto the bass-side. I really don't know hot to realize that in just one video... but let me see, at least I'll try.
The song will be "Oi Da Snowball Tree - Oi Da Ty Kalinushka", a wonderfull russian folk song.
I hope my camera still works, and I will be able to help you with that a bit.
You are right. The music is no. one! Yet, two thinks I like to point out: 1 the sound quality on Youtube is not "CD" quality music. So to record a song and play it on youtube is really just an "introduction" to the world about yourself. 2; since I don't have a teacher because I could not find one this area I learned a lot just by looking at people playing the accordion on youtube.
Andrew, I fully underwrite and appreciate your (or anybodys) will to learn from videos on YouTube... but I still don't believe (and i am convinced) that there is not much you (one) can learn from a YouTube-video except bellows-movement and maybe (if you are lucky and the video is of excellent quality) some fingersettings... and maybe a bit about correct wearing/holding the instrument. But that's it. For all the rest you will need a good teacher or at least a good book and/or teaching-video.
Oh, I thank you so much for this comment ! You name it: I used "echo" instead of "reverb" accidentially. My program (Audacity) needs to have an addon called "Gverb" or "freeverb". I didn't do much with it the past months and have a newer version now - forgot to install this "Gverb"-addon after removing the older version and new install. Thanks a lot ! Your comment brought me back on the right track... i know, that i did use "reverb" before instead of "echo" ! That's it !
Yes, it is much better now. But I think you are using an eco effect instead of a reverb effect. I think a reverb would be more suitable for this fast playing. While a reverb will simulate a room or a hall and adds a kind of sweetens to the sound with spaciousness, opposite to an eco which will create a sort of feed back effect, what sometimes gets in the way of the musical notes.
Tout simplement génial :D Du talent dans cette interprétation grandiose!

This is an excellent interpretation, the relaxed tempo gives time for the melody to unfold and tell a story.

@bsam20uk
Thanky you !
This is the advantage of a moderate speed:
one can follow, actually feel the melody - and it opens mind for dreaming.
Quick speed pushes up for dancing and tapping feet.
Both ways do have their dedicated space in world of music.
LibertangoVieenrose 5 months ago
Bien fait!
It is more important to play with expression than with speed - and this you have done admirably.
It is better to be a musician than an athlete, non?

ah oui... mais bien sur...
il n'y a rien a ajouter.
Merci beaucoup.

@ouvragedefeu
Thanks - exactly my way of thinking.
Speed is always something to play with...
one can turn it up for the "energetic, vivant" mode or vice versa for the emotional, relaxed way.
And yes, there are always many, many ways in between those two ways....

votre version est pas mal ,mais elle n'a rien à voir avec celles de grands accordéonistes Verchuren,Aimable,Horner.....etc
raynat77 2 years ago
@raynat77
