This setup is awesome!!! I have had mine on for about 3 weeks!!! I love the sound. They are getting a bit softer now. I am surprise you didn't go for the powdercoated BLACK ones!!

Where is the power or torque increases with this pipe?  Low, mid, high range? No information on the net about what it does for performance compared to, say, a Thunderheader or SuperTrapp.

yes.. and if you find a deal on a chrome set.. vht makes awsome ceramic black 1500 degree paint to paint them with.

I guess I was looking for the best combination to maximize both.. I have short shorts with SERT and SE high flow AIR filter and my top end is great but I want more torque in my low and mids.

a 2-1 on a sporty will beat out short shots and side shots any day the bissani pro streets are comparable to a 2-1 but 2-1's are the best pipe on a sporty..... v&h shortys or any pipe besides the 2-1 are 85hp pipes. the seriously restrict flow...

VERY NICE! Thinking about 2 into 1 pipes for my 1200R but I'm caught between V&H and the Thunderheader pipes... How do you like those Outlaws? I currently have V&H short shots.... I like them but they are not what I want as far as performance goes.

i'm using the stock exhaust. i was thinking of changing them to the straight flow kinda pipes. do you think that will give me higher top speed ? better highend ? people told me that i will lose the low end pull if i do that. but it's the highend that i am concern about. would you give me soem comments ? please advice.

It depends on your gearing. Change to a bigger front or smaller rear sproket for higher top speed and lower revs at speed. Get some performace exhaust to compensate for the slower acceleration. Install a super charger

Owner of this bike is 6'2" 220 lbs. And he has it lowered, still rides fine. Bars are 32" drag bars on stock risers.

Good move! I just noticed that you blackened your rocker covers and the bottom of the mount. Did you do that yourself? I was quoted a hefty coin like $480 bones to powder coat my rocker covers above the motor. Any advice on a cheaper method? A reply would be much appreciated.
