  • Yearn is old but amazing...just search them on youtube and there good ones will.come up

  • man this song is convicting and powerful. honestly it made me cry a bit and im not easy to tear up. So im not that familiar with Shane & Shane, wat other songs does any1 recommend?

  • Yes.

  • This is such a powerful and meaningful song. Makes me want to cry every time i hear it especially the part that says, "he's forgotten the refrain, JESUS SAVES!" Amen

  • He redeemed us from the curse of the law!

  • Thank you for this!!! Thank you God.. Thank you Jesus.

  • get goosebumps every time. what an impacting song, it is engrained on my memory forever.

  • that is for sure. but even though God uses his people to get the message through. i guess i can't think about it too much on how God does it. it boggles the mind.

  • Praise be to God forever. Because The Devil always speaks in our ears. The song in which we are always far from God and that we will never be good enough to enter his kingdom. But luckily Jesus Saves! He died on the cross for us so that we may cross to heaven. he sings that first verse so well. But... Jesus sings the rest of the song much better =)

  • What a great song!

  • His blood saves and breaks every curse in our lives on this Earth. He is the Anointed One - the burden remover and yoke destroyer. We are saved by the Grace of the Father, but we are redeemed by His Blood. Plead it.

  • I appreciate the scripture that shane and shane sing, but i have to disagree with this song. the devil is not telling the truth and his curses are false. The reason they are false is because of our new position in Christ. The lies we are told is the Christ cannot redeem, that it is about works, and that we are stuck in truth. The truth, not from the devil, is that we are placed in Christ, seated in the heavenlies, pure/blameless/spotless righteous children because of his work on the cross.

  • @123456jokl I think that's supposed to be the point of the song. Like, we foolish humans sometimes embrace satan's accusations when we feel like we can't achieve salvation, and we've fallen too far to love, and God shouldn't waste our time with us. But oh wait, Shane & Shane are reminding us (4:19ish) that JESUS SAVES! so we have hope, and we can stop falling for the devil's lies that we're cursed and condemned. Make sense?

  • @123456jokl If you havent seen the video of shane explaining the song its over there >. The song is talking about 2 verses in galations. the first says that those who cant abide by the law are cursed and damned. this is what shane said the devil was speaking to him. and that is truth. we are cursed because we cant follow God's law. but the next verse says that Christ became that curse for us when we died on the cross.

  • @123456jokl ...so basically you didn't listen to the entire song.

  • @123456jokl well its what the devil tells us in our hearts... not what it really means. hence the "father of lies" "he sings the verse so conveniently, But he forgets the refrain, Jesus saves." he is referring to satan taking our hearts for his own and how he speaks to us all the time, telling us we cannot gain salvation. But he had forgotten the rest of the story. that Jesus saves =) thats what it is im sure

  • this song almost gave me a heart attack. How do they do this?

  • @hshoon1 the question is, How does God do it?

  • When i first heard this song i felt so excited, because of the fact that when the devil tried to bring true accuation against me; he actually brought so much guilt that i had to pray. But Jesus said it was ok and that a righteous man falls seven times but they dont stay down they get up. Every time i hear this song i remind the devil and laugh in his face because he is not a child of god. Thank you god For your word that endures forever.

  • Thank you Jesus for forgiving a grave sinner like me!!!!!i deserved death but you gave me life! praise God the father

  • heard this in youth group today.. Cried like a baby the thought that we are following the devil. but we are pulled away by Christ.. Christ really is a gift to us that we will never be able to thank him enough

  • I've been to so many different videos on youtube, and all have nasty comments on them, mocking whatever the video discusses. But through this song People see Jesus Christ who loves us so much, and its nice to see uplifting comments! God Bless!

  • This video really hit me hard the first time I heard it. Its so beautiful. And It just gives you chills.

  • This is great! Thanks for posting ! God blees and Jesus loves you :D

  • i really enoyed this video. well done!

  • This is the first I've heard this. This is very true. Wow, ya know, if we doubt God's mercy and grace, we call God a liar and agree with the father of lies. Read up. John chapter one says He's FULL of grace. Elsewhere, "His mercy is new every morning". Read ALL of Psalm 31, partly quoted in this awesome video. We'll never be good enough.

Here's a thought... if JESUS said "Father, into you hands I commit my spirit"... Then how much more should WE? We HAVE to do that. Read up and PRAY!
