This and Love of my life are two of the most heartfelt sentimental songs I will always have in my memories due to the fact that "Missy" in the videos resembles my very first love of my life like a mirror image. I just look at her in these videos and it is a trip back to high school for me! Sometimes I look at her and the memories flow back it's scary!!!

Sammy is the greatest. I saw him perform at the Kansas City Convention Center before he was well known. There were only about a hundred people watching his performance and nobody even clapped their hands. I couldn't believe it so my family and I stood up and clapped and screamed as loud as we could. Sammy smiled from ear to ear so we moved up to the front row and cheered him and his band on. From then on it was like he was singing for us and it was freaking awesome. GO SAMMY!! Glad you made it.

You are so right about Sammy being an overlooked artist. To be big in counrty today you have to be a Rocker....Young....Get into trouble......make the news........ Sammy has that old time country sound....so he is a once and a while star. But to me he sound and looks just right.

Not the same girl. "Missy" took the publicity and buzz from being on the two SK videos and ended up being a host on one of the country music channels. I am having a hard time remembering which one, but she was on it for a few years after that.

This song...where as it wasn't "meant to be" has a special meaning for me. I had a one night layover in Chicago with a girl from Canada. She was absolutely awesome. We were in line for like two hours, got a real nice dinner and shared a motel room. It was great, I wish I could see her again. I was on my way back to Japan.

This has got to be one of Countrys All time BEST songs...Sammy kershaw is not overlooked...he is just not in the main stream "pop" sound that Country music comes to expect from artists these days, Country just ain't what it used to be.. This is the good stuff right here!
