It's amazing that the NHL is now using the Whaler fan base to try to save poor attendance and lack of interest for the wolf pack. But the same fan base didn't matter in saving the Whalers from leaving Hartford.

i feel bad for baldwin, he has a true dream to bring it back and i feel his intentions are all good, but i dont see it happening. prove me wrong people. i cant afford a couple hundred for wolfpack season tickets. now try thousands of dollars for nhl tickets. ct is poor for the most part or cash strapped. the rangers are moving there ahl affiliation to brooklyn when the nets arena is done, so then what? where is a new arena in hartford gonna be built? they spent milions renovating the xl center
