  • THIS IS THE GAYEST COMMERCIAL EVER! POWERFUL!?!?!?! LMFAO!!!!!

  • no wonder Toyota became the #1 brand in the world.

  • @baboracus no wonder they didnt keep it for long. GM reclaimed #1. hahaha

  • I have a BMW but I love what you do for me Toyota!

    4-speed A540E automatic (V6)

  • Ive got a 1920 toyota,olders its,still working

  • This commerical just popped up in my head IDK i had to look it up lol

  • I have a 1990 camry and im in love

  • i have a 1999 V6 XLE camry with 200k miles....still runs good lol

  • That was MY reaction towards my 2004 Toyota Camry XLE V6! STILL LOVE that thing!

  • I've got a 1990 V6 LE with 109,000 miles. Looks and runs like brand new.

  • it is just awesome. back in 1990 i bought a camry 2.5 v6 and guess what. i still drive it today. its got more than 300,000km on it and it still goes strong. toyota forever!

  • had mine for ten years and it has 260,000 miles on it. been allover the country and use it everyday.

  • the 1986-1990 Toyota Camry was assembled in

    Australia: Port Melbourne, Victoria

    Japan: Toyota, Aichi

    United States: Georgetown, Kentucky

  • That was hilarious haha

  • pretty quick for a 1990 back in the day....but its ultimately a fail because its a rule...you cannot be cool with a car with government issued automatic seat belts LOL...fuck you govt!

  • 90 camry156 HP out of 2.5 liters V6 4 valves per cylinder Dohc set up, sound's about correct for 1988 to 91 techology & emissions. In comparison, a BMW 525i sohc 2.5 I6 motor only push 158hp in 1990.

  • 156hp holy shit

  • who said white men cant jump?

  • Back in the days, I had two choice, 4Cyl Camry or 4Cyl Nissan Stanza (both 1991)... I choosed de Nissan Stanza ,.. Still got it today!

But both car have tremendous reliability

  • only 156 hp from a v6? that seems low but what do i know. also i'm loving the psychotic laughter!

  • my favourite car of all time! go toyota!

  • I own a 1991 Toyota Camry V6. Same color as pictured in the commercial but they look exactly alike.

  • @choidj There is a slight difference, the 87-90 camries had the word "toyota" on the front grille, while the 91s had the toyota "oval t" logo on them, which toyota started using in 1991

  • @celticsdude Oh, I knew there would be a difference. I just didn't know what. Thanks.

  • @celticsdude Some later build 1990s also had the T logo and they started having color-keyed door handles at this time too on the DX and LE models.

  • I still remember the "I love what you do for me-TOYOTA!!!" slogan like yesterday!!!

  • Comment removed

  • The guy driving is my dad Jeff East

  • @MrEast1984 hes a faggot.

  • I had an '88 Camry 4cyl. DX, same basic body style as this one. The engine leaked massive amounts of oil and cost $1,000 to repair. It burned oil out the exhaust as well. The engine had surging problems during acceleration. The vinyl skin on interior doors delaminated. Other interior trim fell off. The 4cyl. vibrated horribly at idle. The seats were terribly uncomfortable. The suspension bottomed out so easily. I enjoyed driving it, but damn it was a nightmare to own! And it had just 138k miles.

  • this was a great generation for the Camry...i have never owned one of these but i would like one...the v6 models hauled like Nobodys business to haha

  • i have ha camry 1990 but i gonna build a carcross car of it

  • that guy should play in the NBA with that verticle jump he has

  • WOAH V6 150 horses?!?!

  • @freestyle648 That's huge back in the years, today you see I4's with 155

  • love the jump at end of the commercial

  • @dmkhaw I miss the jump at the end of toyota commercials!!!

  • wayyyyyyyyyyyy cool commercial love it so 80;s i remember this toyota always said love what u do for me toyota i love itttttttt

  • These were OK, but the next Gen Camry were some of the most reliable cars ever. Toyota was on top of their game then. the Lexus LS400 of that time is considered the most reliable car ever.

  • well i own a 1990 camry le just a 4 cylinder but this thing never broke down yet !

  • @ILovemyTaurus They last forever, indeed!

    ;)

  • @DerAdventurer THEY DO!

  • @ILovemyTaurus Yay!

  • The Toyota Camry of this generation looks great with the gray colored body.

  • lol, cool commercial, and btw this generation still looks pretty nice, thx for sharing xD

  • No problem.

  • really why were they dreadful???

  • They were small, uncomfortable, ugly and ran rough after about 50,000 miles (tune-ups didn't fix it).

They were very well made and reliable, but that's their only saving grace. The next generation, which a great aunt of mine owned, was a much better car.
