So what would a graph of the density of water look like (at constant atmospheric pressure)? I would think it would be a v shape, being most dense right before the freezing point...
Going to Wikipedia.... I'll be damned. "Fresh water at standard atmospheric pressure is most dense at 3.98 °C, and will sink by convection as it cools to that temperature, and if it becomes colder it will rise instead." (article on "water," section labeled "freezing point") You're right, I'm wrong. Good call.
When I want to just drink for "pacification":) ... I most often drink a (only one) very strong dark beer... just taste more interesting ... more flavour!
As opposed to drinking to get drunk. Its like a baby passifier - it keeps a baby occupied. Its habit. Every once in a while, I reach for my beer and it passifies me.
I like hefenweisen, but I hate bitterness in beer, so dark and thick are out. I've had St Pauls', that Japanese beer in the crazy can Sokiro or whatever, and lots of others. I prefer wine but wine costs more and gets me drunk way to fast.
lol, i remember watching this when it was first posted... i wish you'd do more of these offbeat videos

Actually, cold water rises, so there's no stirring needed.

So warm water "falls"?

Yes. Cold water is less dense than warm water; that's why ice floats.

Try Pieroth Blue. It is a German white wine in a dark blue bottle. It is so damn good.

Is Pieroth Blue a Reisling? I love Reislings. Blue Nun is a good German Reisling. It just so happens to be in a dark blue bottle also.

What does it mean to "drink it as a passifier"?

Sorry, I meant pacifier.
