@InMooseWeTrust Well, you don't sound too crash hot, yourself. And I haven't even heard your voice, only read it. That's not a good start. Racist pig.
wow AJ changed heaps in the 3rd series. In this series she's much more emotional and nice and into it, whereas in the 3rd series she is very robotic and scripted..
this is my first time watching this series, ive seen series 3, 4, 5 and 6. Even though I know the outcome, I thought I'd watch it to see what really happened. I hope it's as good as the 3rd one
It's obvious who's going to succeed and who's going to fail from the start because of their attitudes. Lmao torturing the poor fat guys with the tastiest food in the world!
7:32 when people do something with the "This is the last time i'll do this." Attitude. They ALWAYS fail miserably. But that woman takes the cake, literally and the cake is a lie.
lol, even if these fatties were to lose weight, theyre still ugly and with their fucked up ozzie accent lololol. the host is a fat slimeball too, well what do you expect from australia
I can not see ONE girl in this who is not pretty. My goodness girls. You've so much to love for, but pretty as an added plus is just wonderful don't you think? Sorry, sounds shallow, but really now, inside most would agree.
Even though Ive watched the BLAus Seasons 1-4 or 5, there are so many episodes that I watch while Im doing my exercise thing. And when the contestants are inspiring, oh it makes it so much easier to exercise ;p
My weight is normal, I'm not very atheltic though. I admit I love to eat good food - but not like that much of it. That's disgusting. However, I don't believe that eating chocolate or cake or pizza is bad in general. It's all about the amount of food. And of course it doesn't have to be every day. :)
I myself am very fit but I kind of feel bad about this. Just eat whatever you want and do some intense weight lifting. For that matter even if you are fat it's not a crime, it just means you enjoy some of the pleasures of life. Calm down! :D
I just thought that they wouldn't eat!! Knowing they need too lose weight they just stuffed themselves sick!! OMG... I hope they get a harsh workout!! Come on...
Takes alot to get me emotional, but my eyes are sorta tearing up. Please read my post at fatforum. copy and paste!!! tried posting link, but please message me for link
the food buffet thing was horrible. that would have made me feel degraded and upset...with it being my own fault ofcourse. they have to remember that what they binge on they are gonna have to burn off.....so it comes with a price....i would have tried not to eat
Ajay Rochester is a bad host. First of all, she is quite overweight, herself. (Yes, she has lost tons of weight but she still has a long way to go). Second of all, she's a criminal (she might have to go to jail) I'm glad that Hayley Lewis replaced her. She's fit and inspirational.
The Biggest Loser is an inspiration no matter how you look at it. I started watching this in the third season and now I will watch seasons 1 and 2 for the first time. It's just so amazing and the recent season was remarkable.
u have no ideea what they went thru. I do, people who loose that much weight desorve respect because thats an imense character test, just the best can do it
I can't believe they actually ate it. I would choose to go hungry over eating that crap, which is sometimes what I need to do at social events when no healthy food is presented.
That's true, why is it that in social events there's nothing but junk food. When you show up with healthy food they all give you the evil look, you also get it if you don't try the food. I hate that, I'm trying to lose weight & that's not the way to go, kids parties are worse, they're loaded w/lots of sugar, it's ridiculous.
yeah i saw this when it was first aired, i like this show as the people are fair dinkum. i like to see the chang in them, both physical and mental, and the dramatic change in the winner, its like a beautiful butterfly emerging from its cocoon. fantastic
Such a good idea to have someone who also faught the weight battle and won to present the show. She's lovely and sympathetic, and just having her around is an inspiration
I am from the USA and I like watching the show here......I hope is good there in Aussie land.....I just hope the fat people don't cry all the time like they do here......LOL
they do quite a lot in the UK version, but in both series that I saw, they are all really nice and sweet people. I never liked this kind of shows much but I was completely hooked. I started to really care about them and wanted to see that they did well... guess I'm a rather old fashion gal...
I agree with Grapesour... i was thinking the samething. I would have skipped the meal and filled up on water or drinks that have food in them like milk or juice
Did not even one of them stop to think: this is going to have a price? If I binge now I'm going to have to pay for it later? The competition starts here?
This is portraying fat people as nitwits who are powerless in the face of food. That's really not true.
well, technically, if we assume that fat people agree on the fact that being fat is undesirable in terms both of health and of societal acceptance, then it would be ok to say that these people do indeed lack control and are quite powerless as regards food. Let's face it, if they had control, they wouldnt be weighing 300 pounds.
But what the did with the buffet was very degrading. it doesnt show any will to help these people, only to make a spectacle out of them.
@passedmeflyingby it helped them tons. I doubt they ever saw themselves from a 3rd person view gorging themselves. It's all about the "Neverending Story." One of the most deadly traps in Fantasia was seeing yourself in a mirror.
That Last Supper thing was...odd. Setting it up like that makes it seem like all their fave foods are leaving the planet or something! It's a great way of instilling a deprived diet mindset in ppl.

Well, just watching the show isn't going to solve anyone's problem. You have to work at it. Anyone, can lose weight if they really and truly want to. However... it's entirely up to the person to stick to it. It's just exercise, lose weight, and that's it. No, you have to keep working at it.
Even more important is the mind set and sorting out why they have the need to use food as a crutch when things get tough. Without that, they will never keep the weight off in years to come!
This is so cool. I've heard of The Biggest Loser Australia Version, and I knew that Bob Harper and Jillian Michaels were the trainers. But to see this for the first time, I'm impressed. Great job, you guys from down under! :)
You know, I was wondering the same thing. Unfortunately, I'm in the dark about that as well. :( Though, I wasn't too crazy about the very first season of the Biggest Loser here in America. @Wheeloffortunefan999 Yeah, Ryan. Oh, he did come back on the "Did You Keep The Weight Off" segment last year, and hopefully he can get back on track to going back to maintaining his weight.
im in no means as big as any of these contestants..but to think..these people will probably lose over 50 pounds...i cant loose the same 15 pounds ive been trying to loose for the past 2 years gets me so mad at myself!!!!
