I love Nick Drake aand I love Gomez. But Gomez doing a Nick Drake song? This is appalling. A hideous, noisy travesty. The vocals sound angry. Nick Drake's depression wasn't angry when he sang this.....he wanted to go home. There is a melancholy acceptance of death through futility that Gomez completely fail to grasp.

This is a shit recording... Gomez are great... Drake's version is obviously better, but Ben Ottwell's voice is phenomenal

Absolutely LOVE this song and LOVE Gomez!! (Have only just heard the Nick Drake version for the first time!) This recording really doesn't do it justice! better on Out West! (Or standing in the room obviously!) It's my favourite Gomez track! (Oh and it goes into Free to Run)

Yh the Out West version is amazing much better i think than this one.
