Poor ignorant people they think it's real. I have heard of white people who have died trying to hold their own sweat lodge. Thats what happens when you turn something sacred into evil. If it wasn't given to you then it was stolen and thats how evil comes out of it.
Sounds like Joyce Jones and Charlie's Thom's fraudlent operation. He falsely claims to be a "full-blooded" Karuk spiritual leader, but the Karuk don't claim him. Mt. Shasta is one of the most offensive, exploitive and FAKE sweat lodge operations around. The Calif. attorney general should look into it.
Google Earth Circle Association and you can see how fake they are.
son of tatum o,neal ! breathing in 100 hippies worth of sweat..shee you. vanilla lice, lice scabies-doom doom doom doom diddy doom doom. i bet the big one had to sweat by herself. was that dude fisting that passed out porker? wonder what he found. what the? what is this? hey it's an old devil stick. look! it's still in good shape. it has just come unwrapped is all......kinda stinks too.
what is stolen is soon confused miss used and looses any power or meaning, it only becomes jibberish and a danger to any one who attends ask 7 questions first what is your real name, not a phony indian name? what nation do you represent, not a club who from the nation will represent you? what path were you given by your nation? who gave you the right to do the lodge? why do you do the lodge? and to day are you insured?????
Speaking as Native Pipe & sweat lodge keeper. It looks as though you had a wonderful sweat. And I am sure your intention was good. Now my complaint...ceremonies of generations are so sacred, they should never be filmed. Accept by a Native Nation for educational use. This is the way my people feel about this. Please be more respectful of your red Relations protocall. Walalin=thank you With respect. Tim Walking Bear
@rach85256 Agreed! I'm white, and I find this offensive! It's nothing more then a bunch of new agers disrespecting Native American sacred ceremonies, that they have absolutely no idea on what they're doing and no permission from any real Native people I'm sure! The Wannabe tribe is the only one who must of gave them permission!
Cool video, lots of work on the Lodge, was nice to see. One question: 1,000 years, is this the length of time this particular lodge has been run? My tribe (Omaha) have mounds which have been carbon dated back to 12,000 years, we have always had sweat lodge. Many tribes say it is part of their original instruction which goes back many thousands of years prior to written word.
If you want a sweat lodge, just close your bathroom door and turn on the hot water for awhile. No need to pay someone $10,000 for the "experience."

My question is how do you attend?

I helped pick up the FIVE (yes 5) large bags of trash these wankers left on the mountain.
Oh and thanks for keeping everyone that was camping up all night.
Next year expect the sheriff to show up and bust you for all the acid and mushrooms you were trying to sell. See ya all next year! :-)

rach85256 3 years ago
They are all 1/18th (something) just like most Americans.
James92802 3 years ago
