Naturally an animal that was bred to be sold to a human so that human can feed it to their pet, is going to have zero chance of survival. I guess if you see that as unnatural then you must see farming as unnatural, since farms are not natural. Do you apply your logic to yourself or just other people's pets?

The mouse was killed, because it was being consumed. Killing to consume is acceptable.
If anything, Humans are one of the very few species that kill for reasons other than consumption. When looking at the big picture, humans have less justification to kill.

It's an example of something that happens in the natural world. Animals eat other animals - It's the food chain. I'd also like to mention that humans eat other animals.

Natural world means exactly that: 'natural'... there's nothing natural about a human giving piranhas a living animal to feed, which brings me to my next point: why have a pet piranha? There's no legitmate reason to have one as a pet other than the fact that they're naturally vicious. that's the core issue here.
