  • I felt I just had to comment on this video! These two men are exceptionally talented and have created something incredibly beautiful together. What a superb match of gifts and what a wonderful result!

  • Great documentary about a fine Guitarist and finer Luthier.

I wondered about the story when I saw the guitar being played with the Nyckelharpa...I love the use of hammer-ons and tapping...and James's playing is inspiring.

Life is good when great collaberations exists such as these two men. Great stuff. -Jer

  • I rarely watch youtube videos but a film of this quality might just make a "tuber" out of me. Outstanding in all regards.

  • Excellent..........!

  • GREAT documentary Jennifer! You captured these two creative and artistic pros flawlessly.

  • Two thumbs up from me too! Thanks for this wonderful video. There are few guitar builders today who can match Alan's consistency in building world-class instruments. The instruments that he builds are always as beautiful as his soul. If anyone is considering having a handmade classical guitar you would be foolish to not look up this artist.

  • James & Alan - I remember when you guys came up with this idea and brought the arch-harp guitar to the deli and played it! This is a wonderful video record of that time and brings back great memories. I understand James that you have a protege here in SF who ordered one of these from Alan. Jon is a great player and I'm sure he'll make you proud. Congrats!

  • I loved this video! You guys are way too cool!Good job Alan,James,& Jennifer! Salud!
