  • these are propably tubifex worms the blob is only about 4cm big

  • It's in Galileo in this moment XD

(Galileo is a german TV program ^^)

  • Looks like a pile of sh*t as far as I'm concerned.

  • A moving pile of shit XD

  • Oh i could think of a few things i could do with this blob ;D

  • I can tell you what it really is... NEW MOVIE BY STEVEN SPIELBERG...

  • LOOK AT THE WATER! That is a tiny space.

  • it is very interesting, and now in alaska: big slippery matter, what is this, UFO????

  • I think that the one on the left is the hottest.

  • Bryozoans bryowhat. The ones compared in other videos look really different. Anyone having recordings similar to this one?

  • @commongivemeanicknam - Yes here are three on YouTube:

    1) /watch?v=g1H3e0Iynso

    2) /watch?v=a3KkxMlXyks

    3) /watch?v=pAOip1BOPeQ

As in #3 don't shot them as they are worth MONEY at Pharmaceutical Companies for anti-Cancer and anti-Alzheimer research!

  • Io sono un pizzaiolo e ho scoperto che questa è la gastroscopia di papi silvio

  • it looks like it's drinking

  • Not 'Unknown Life-form, not tubifex worms, but the prehistoric 'moss animals' or bryozoans. They were also found in Denver CO sewer system back in 2007. They are also asexuaI (he/shes?). Mainly found out in the ocean though...

  • wow.. tnx for the info... i was almost getting the creep out of me... i'll research that bryozoan thing... tnx again...

  • it doesnt appear to be bryozoans, unless they havent "corralized" yet

  • @A15KaldrinJAB - There are many kinds of bryozoans. They are only "related" to coral NOT coral themselves. These are freshwater bryozoans which can grow to the size of watermelons and WILL clog a water system. These are common to sewage/water system people. I don't know why these NC fellows don't recognize them. They are not tubifex worms...

  • i know they are not coral, by corralized i mean the excretion of calcium carbonate to form a sort off err, corally thing. I guess they are not tubifex worms, they probably are bryozoans, they just dont appear to look very err bryozoan like

  • @A15KaldrinJAB - Thomas Kwak, a biology prof @ NCSU Cooperative Fish & Wildlife Research Unit says the so-called monster is actually a cluster of invertebrates called bryozoan, which are commonly found in both the sea and fresh water environments. It's unclear how they got into the sewer system, but Kwak said it isn't surprising. The bryozoan feed off bacteria and thrive in cold, dark environments. Those in the video are smaller than a fist, but could grow as large as a watermelon, he said.

  • i was being sarcastic they look nothing like bryozoans.

  • @A15KaldrinJAB - Which kinds have you seen before? There are many.

  • many.

  • Oh, ok, so we know what theese are (or, at least scince dose...)

  • It´s alive!!!

  • Looks really like Dead Space ...

  • wäähh soo hässlich

  • god...this is dead space real

    in the ishimurra....

    or Jericho...

    maybe DOOM3

  • Use your brains people....

    1. This is only a SIX INCH PIPE

    2. Notice from 0:37 to 0:49 as the camera travels down the the pipe how small these clusters are in reference to the 6 inch pipe--they don't even cover half the pipe wall. So these clusters are what.....1/12, 3 inches in size maybe???

    3. These things are TINY--the camera closeups only make them APPEAR huge.

This is NO alien life form people...just a TIINY cluster of worms...

  • oh tnk you.. i didnt notice that... i thought it was big... the thing totally got my attention... eeeooww..

  • Sure would suck if this was someone having a colonic recorded... that would be that s/he has been infested with aliens... like Species. :D

  • does this thing eat humans?

  • Actually, the sewer monster is made up of thousands of tiny organisms called bryozoans, or moss animacules, said N.C. State University biologist Thomas Kwak. Invertebrates, they bunch together in colonies and feed with tiny tentacles.

  • staff biologists have confirmed that the creature is actually a colony of tubifex worms. The colonies attach themselves to roots that gradually work themselves into weak points in the pipes. They seem to respond to the light from the camera, Buchan said. That light is pretty hot.The worms naturally occur in sewage and pond sediment and are actually sold both live and dried as fish food in pet stores.

  • thanks brother i am happy

  • It's creepy looking, and the other video on tubifex worms doesn't look the same, but that doesn't mean that it's alien.

  • CHUD C.H.U.D.

  • this thing will hatch in 2012!!!

  • yeah, really, haha

  • Ed Buchan, environmental coordinator at the Raleigh Public Utilities Department, said staff biologists have confirmed that the creature is actually a colony of tubifex worms. The colonies attach themselves to roots that gradually work themselves into weak points in the pipes. They seem to respond to the light from the camera, Buchan said. That light is pretty hot.

  • Check out

    David Emery's Urban Legends Blog.

Raleigh 'Sewer Monster' a Colony of Worms.

    Thursday July 2, 2009

  • Really tell me how Tubifex Worms develope meat hives out made out of fatty like tissue blistering on the wall?

oh & one more thing begin @ 1:44 watch the top the cracked area where its brown

you'll see two shiney dots pop out - sweet dreams fuckers

  • You may be confused because T. tubifex includes several species: distinguishing them is difficult because the external characteristics of the worm vary with changes in local environmental salinity.

  • is this really a worm?

  • Yes it is a colony of sewage worms, they are found on multiple continents.

  • ahhh, thats really weird.

    thanks :)

  • Do your homework. These look NOTHING like Tubifex Worms. Bryozoan sounds more likely, but this thing still doesn't have the spore like exterior bryozoan's have. Anyone notice the spine like appendage that seems to recoil into the wall near the end of this segment?

  • Tubifex Worms, also called the sludge worm, sewage worm, or lime snake, is a species of tubificid segmented worm.

  • Don't tell me this kind of bullshit. That is not a colony or what. That shit is breathing. Are you realizing that? Show me your diploma and don't start vomiting over me bullshit taken by wikipedia

  • It is not bullshit, he is correct about it being tubifex worms. As for what you think is breathing, well it is not actually breathing. That was a reaction from the heat from the flashlights (since they do get bloody warm). Someone doesn't need a 'diploma' to be ale to do some researched and find the answers and not simply make a guess (which I am assuming you are doing).

  • They are obviously tubifex worms...

    As for you,

You are very angry person aren't you...

  • i'm not so angry, i give punches on youtube :) ahah. yeah sorry for before. peace.

  • the video was taken from a sewer within the raccoon city. The sewer was reportedly to have infested with an unknown virus called the T-virus.

  • this video looks like and sound like Silent Hill or Resident Evil game

  • an infection is spreading, were all fucked is the first thing that came to mind when i saw that thing

  • a sewer monster, it is not.

the video was taken in April during an inspection of a privately maintained sewer line in Cameron Village.

A biology professor at North Carolina State University's Cooperative Fish and Wildlife Research Unit, says the so-called monster is actually a cluster of invertebrates called byrozoan, which are commonly found in both the sea and fresh water environments.

The byrozoan feed off bacteria and thrive in cold, dark environments

  • i wanna see tha proof cuz i dnt think a bunch ov worms tht look like some stuff outta men in black !!!

  • its a bunch of worms and its been proven

  • SHIT THE ALIENS ARE REAL Yo

  • tubifex worms...

  • Wow Now That Is What I Call A Big Worm And Ugly :p

  • so thats where my crap went........

  • Yeah, it's confirmed they're a colony of worms known as a Bryozoan, over 35 million years old.

  • looks nothing like it.

  • Yes to the clump of worms. Google search "tubificids"

  • big Worm :-)

  • this what happen when you fluse drugs down the toilet a killer terd

  • his is viral advertising for KROJ A-17 video..

  • Ohh the music just makes it worse whhaa haaaahaawawaaa

  • it makes me ichy

  • Ed Buchan, environmental coordinator at the Raleigh Public Utilities Department, said staff biologists have confirmed that the "creature" is actually a colony of tubifex worms. The colonies attach themselves to roots that gradually work themselves into weak points in the pipes.

  • I'm not sure I've ever seen anything more wrong than this.

  • o theres nothing to worry about...thts just a moving turd.......completly normal.....verry common in north america

  • It's the Flood! Kill it with fire!

  • tasty

  • It's nothing more than a colony of tubifex worms that are pretty much encased in a cyst, created by the worms themselves. They're living in a environment with no food, and survive by encysting themselves, and the hemoglobin on one end of their bodies. There's nothing to worry about.

  • thank you smart person i just watched 2 videos and was freaking out that is the most disgusting thing uggh even saying what you have written about it makes me cringe lol.

  • u feel disgusting with the inner of ur body?

  • Yeah but it looks like some Scfi creature.O_O

  • i think you're one of them...

  • why doesnt anyone take a piece of it so they can examine it and try to find out wats in it? O.o

  • its called tubifex

  • its just worms

  • loks like somebody flushed brains down the toliet

  • lol

  • As soon as the military sees this the video will be taken down.

  • it's a clump of worms

  • its a fin mutation...

  • ugh what was that? poke it with a stick!

  • Comment removed

  • what's that brother i can't understand can you please tell me is this is a virus or some thing in side the human where is this place
