  • LOL he does too!

    nice bass

  • Please..next time, put the rod down, and release the fish without dragging it across the ground...removes their protective slimecoat. Otherwise, nice fish.

  • Yeah dude thats his twin BRO filming.

It actually was tipped w/ a crappie nugget.

Check out his swimbaits and (better fish) pics on swimbaitnation dotcom or just pick one up at Save-on Tackle.

Damn I sound like an infomercial. lol

  • wow man nice bass i go there also with my fam doing a lil bassing fishing my self but have not yet to catch one pretty hard i know i will some day tho pud is good also for trout in the winter time also powerbait :)

  • Puddingstone has some hogs in there, the guys who fish at night know this. I forget their names, but there are two older dudes who I use to see a lot who use to make their own baits are crawl them slow. They would use these big poured baits and throw them on spinning rods with 5 1/2 foot poles. No lie, those dudes would catch some fish. My biggest at Pudd was only a 8.3 cirtified 3 years ago.

  • yeah, those two guys were the russian brothers. they make some dope swimbaits.

  • swimbait is for rich spoiled kids with no skillz, those are friggin expensive.

  • Rich spoiled kids huh?? Well, Thats why we make 'em dude. And as far as "No Skillz" LMAO. I was beating some big time Pros scince I was a 16 yr old poor kid.

  • What pros have you beat?

  • @JohnPtrum actuly dude, you can buy them for preaty cheap at walmart and bass pro shop

  • Not a 7lb bass. Probably around 3.5 to 4 lbs at most.

  • Actually You're right not a 7. But it WAS roughly 4-5lbs. These swimbaits are really HUGE. Way too big for a 3!

  • yea. i have a castaic swim bait. you should pick one up. even tho they r expensive, it is worth the price. guarentee 7 lb bass outta puddingstone and castaic if u use one.

  • I have Castaics and Huddlestons. we actually have re-done the mold on those as well. Our swimbait is much better it has a great body and a Hudd-like tail for SUPER slow retrieve I've gotten several fish WELL over 7lbs at Pudd and Castaic as well as a number of double digits. Though I'm more of an ocean fisherman. In fact John's twin brother held the record at Pudd for a while @ 18+LbS. Check out his Page (He never updates though) myspaceDOTCOM/kayakajohn

  • There is no record of this Pudd 18 lb. bass!
