dude i work for hyundai at the docks in port huemene ca. and i get to drive every hyundai they make.let me tell you a secret.hyundai makes some great cars.We are always putting new updates and we get alot of road testing cars aka feed back cars.the genesis is awesome the coupes sound sick.and they have come a long way since the 1990..the equus is a amazing luxury car.Here is another secret Genisis is going to become hyundai's new Luxury brand

Customer retention study ranks Hyundai highest

Hyundai ranked highest among 33 automotive brands in retaining customers when they buy a new vehicle, according to results from a J.D. Power and Associates study released Wednesday.

The study is based on responses from more than 117,000 buyers or lessees of new vehicles last year, of which 73,733 replaced a vehicle that was bought new.

The Azera wears the "fluidic sculpture" design language Hyundai has been using sooo much better than the Sonata and especially the Elantra. It really makes the Elantra look like a bloated guppy or something. I guess it just fits better on a bigger car IMO

I thought CR relied SOLELY on cars it purchased independently for review and analysis? I know they'll purchase one eventually, but why rely on the manufacturer's "prepped up" version and not wait to buy an actual production model?

It'll be interesting to see how well the Azera sells with it's FWD platform over the Genesis's RWD. The biggest reason I'd get an Azera over a Genesis is that RWD is just no good in the mountains in snow.

One turn off is to me, the back looks like a Kia Optima. If I'm buying an Azera as a luxury car, I'd like it to not look like the Sonata's Kia counterpart.
