  • Yes it is cheaper to eat at home and its interesting dude to the fact you are in Japan. You can have a lot of fun cooking with new things. As it is in the west it depends on you, there are various ways to save and shop. I have found that once you get your grove on here there are some very reasonable places to eat out and more so than I am used back home.

  • Do most Japanese families eat at home or eat out usually? Is it cheaper to cook at home? What have you found?

  • Yea I did but I agree Shinjuku station is a beast and take your time there..... a lot has been added depending on when you last visited:)

    I'm asking because the station is HUGE. (although smaller than Tokyo station)

    I'm going to japan in about 3 days. Well, technically returning because I was born there but I'm only going for 2 weeks.
