This is odd... with complete respect to everybody's opinion, I thought that McCain actually won. I don't think you're wrong, I think there's a bug in how I perceived each question. I saw McCain take the "reformer" position for every question, and force Obama to nowheresville.

Personally, as an Obama supporter, I thought it was a great debate for them both. They both did excellent.

However, when McCain is trying to drive home the point about his 26 YEARS of experience vs Obama's two years as senator (not to diminish his state senator experience prior to that going back to 1997) - Obama holding his own with McCain on foreign policy is the same as winning.

If Obama can hold his own against McCain on foreign policy issues, then he is ready.

I do think that McCain did better than I expected especially after the attempt to cop out of it on Wednesday and the fact that I was pretty sure he was a senile old man. He looked pretty dumb to be sure, but I think it played well to the rednecks in this country.
