@dippyitsale The only person ive heard of that got mad at Weird Al was Coolio, for doing a parody of Gangsters Paradise....but after Al paid him and got the rights to do it everything was fine lol
@dippyitsale He doesn't 'rip' of their songs he makes parodies of them. It's two different things. You can get rights to make parodies to offical music videos. And most agree because it makes the orginal songs more famous. It's advertising/marketing.
@TragedySoldier Yeah, sometimes the singers say no, but the only one I know of who did that was Lady Gaga for "born this way." Even then, she gave him permission soon after, and "perform this way" was born, no pun intended.
