I have never seen any one play the five row button accordeon before. I have a CD de "Los Relampagos del Norte" with Ramon Ayala on the cover playing the five row button accordeon. This video with Oscar Hernandez and Joel Guzman is definitely my favorite!
Oscar Hernandez is wild on the chromatic! I recently was introduced to his music and I find it mindblowing. Does anyone know if he plays a B or a C griff Chromatic?
If you listen closely, Joel's imitation on the runs in not exactly the same and missing some notes. Also in the third riff Joel does not respond and in the last riff, notes are missing and the riff is not completed.
In no way do I mean to degrade Joel he is an excellent accordion player. I am just simply stating that the diatonic box is limited compared to the chromatic box and Mr. Hernandez can exploit those limitation to the fullest. I have seen and heart it.

Awesome! Check out Joel matching the runs of Oscar's chromatic box... on a diatonic. He's got the technique and ears to match. Love it!
