But there are so many waking up now- Eckhart Tolle talks of a new consciousness- I just try to hold fast to the fact that if i believe it can happen then it can happen- we can change our reality. I believe instead of going to Oslo Obama should have went to The Hague in the Netherlands to rejoin the International Criminal Court-Obama then would have pressed war crimes charges against Bush for launching a War of Aggression against Iraq not sanctioned by the UN Security Council-Bush/Blair would be in the Dock together. Obama would then be a bona fide peacemaker truly deserving to get a prize.

Goverments are businesses. Think about it: the value of a nation, and hence it's goverment, is the total value of the economy and all the businesses in it. Therefore, think of government as the establised "parent company" to all corpoations in it.

Our state provides us with the necessities. Not saying there are no poor people in norway, ofcourse it is, but the difference from Norway and America is everybody who needs help, gets it.
Health and medical treatment, and everyone has the option of an apartment.

Because most countries in northern Europe have something called social security that gives them enough money for shelter and food. Norway, Sweden and Germany are 3 of the best examples to the world on that area. That support is given not only to homeless but also to refugees, immigrants, etc. No one is left behind.

I have been sick for a while and I have had everything I needed. Not a life in luxury, but its (almost) enough to live life without much financial worry (unless your a shopaholic) Food, medical supply, healthcare is good (you pay up to a certain amount every year and after that, its free) Your rent and bills are covered (not phone and internet of curse) and you have what you need. Not much else, but when you have what you need. thats enough.

Obviously a typo that you pick on due to lack of arguments.
You can not use "we" or "us" since this is a 1 on 1 discussion, there is you and there is me and the only time you can use "We" is by saying "we do not agree", unless you are a group or have a mental disorder.
You could use some grammar since you live on a English speaking country and I do not.

All this talk about the US being at war, but no one really says (when they are commenting) that he didn't start the wars. And to end wars, he can't just snap his fingers, or leave the countries, they would be in ruines before he could get his people out. And the middle east would not be any better.

-More NATO support (ie. missle ready to launch in Europe)
-Countries should rally behind America to wage war for peace
- consequences to those that disagree with his policies
-that American democracy is the shining light of the world
-other bs that his speech writer let him say.

Exactly, I love how all the "haters" conveniently forget all the current problems are from George Bush's mismanagement. We wouldn't be in two wars, have a slow economy, have a deficit, had to have a stimulus if Bush wasn't there to screw it all up.
At least Obama has been quick to repair much of the damage and restore our reputation in the world, so congrats to Obama in winning this award.

That phrase has been used for 1000's of years, so it's not something new, nor does it have any sinister meaning.

yes, the underlying reason this myth was made up was because people on the lowest rungs feel powerless.
Cap & Trade is tough, it would be easier for all governments to agree to turn off all coal & oil burning power plants in 15 years, in the meantime they would build 1800 nuclear plants, which are green and far safer for our civilization.
We only have ONE planet, so the time is ripe to get our ecology back in balance. It would end most water wars, save crops, coastal regions and clear the air.

We do only have one planet and we as humans are to be stewards and take care of all life and resources. However, taxing carbon dioxide does NOTHING to prevent polution and proper resource managment. Carbon dioxide is NOT a pollutant and turning off coal and oil burning power plants, as you put it, WILL destroy third world populations and parts of the first.
I am a university "educated" person and I have a different view on the NWO.
