I love animals also. I had a cat named Snowball that lived to be about 19 years old... She lived WAY past her 9 lives haha. I have a Yellow Labrador Retriever now named JC :-)

I watch your videos and follow you on twitter.... and you seem to be quite motivated for exercise..... I was wondering if your are following any diet or exercise routine that is effective or if you could give tips on exercise that motivates you? im trying to lose weight in time for April and have found that gyms are very expensive and not that motivating......

Motivation is key, I had a goal and fitness test to get ready for as part of my job. Set yourself realistic goals like running three times a week just for ten minutes and at any pace. It takes time to build up stamina so don't be hard on yourself if you're not able to run miles or do 10 push ups in the first week! I don't diet or try to lose weight. My goals are to be fit and healthy. I actually put on weight as I have gained muscle on my legs and arms!

Lovely!!!!! I have two black cats. A girl that came from a friends house 'cause they didn't want it anymore, and a boy from the street. He was sooooooo scared at the begining. It took months to trust us, but now he sleeps next to my feet every night and wakes me up scratching my pillow. Cats are great!

She's still rather young! Very sweet! She reminds me of my cat Lucifrette, who I found in a parking lot. She lived for about 19 years. Luci was a loudmouth when she dragged clothing, I mean her prey, around the house!

Ever since I was a little girl I was deathly afraid of dogs. Fearing that they'd eat me up or something. So, I was a total cat person. At about 18 years old I became really allergic to them. Thanks Dad! :) I can't really be around them without suffering. I do anyway. But, it means I can never really own one. I literally just got teary eyed when she started to purr. I miss cats. But, the upside is I love dogs now. Yay! :) Love her black coat with those gorgeous green eyes. Thanks for sharing. :)

Mewser is very soppy and would never attack anyone! Cats only attack if they are protecting themselves. Unfortunately children often don't know they are scary (like by pulling tails or being loud) so cats react.

I am sorry to hear about your Harvey.Mewser is a lucky little lady to have found such a kind and loving home.She ie so playful and certainly does not look her age. I have 2 cats and one is a feral we found at 4weeks of age and Buddy whom both Harvey and Mewser look like was a Katrina rescue.He was quite ill when we brought him home but he is doing well.I adore all animals,especially ctas.Her purr is wonderful and I could listen to it for hours.

Aww, I love cats. Mine is going to be 12 this year and he's just as fun as he was as a kitten (except he sleeps a lot more). We adopted him from an animal hospital, and it turned out he had a twin brother! Wish I'd gotten him as well.

You are very lucky that you managed to get the cat to trust you. A friend of mine has recently had a very different experience. Initially, the cat seemed to like her, but after 2 years, suddenly, she wouldn't come at all anymore and started puking everywhere, after my friend had dared to go on a 4 day holiday. My friend's mother dropped by to feed the cat. She's very disappointed about her experience. I'm happy it worked out so well for you!

Yes Mewser is the same when we go away, she just needs a week to get back to feeling safe again. Lots of extra attention, cuddles and reassurance. Cats take it hard when their routine is disturbed and they get stressed out. I hope your friend can rebuild her relationship with her cat.

Does not work either, I tried a lot of cat toys and string, and other stuff to play, what he likes is only those stuffed toy with catnip from IKEA , screwdriver and pencils. He is an odd cat. And you know...he even love the yellow teletubbies, he always went nuts when the yellow one appears on telly.

And..this is the most amazing part of my cat, he love blond girls. You know how panicky cat can be in the vet, 2 nurse was holding him, he still panicking but as soon as the doctor came, she is blonde, he calms down instantly and start to purr,and whenever my blond neighbour came to us to borrow some tools, he also approach her and purr and doing those thing with his tail... I know, it's hard to believe. Right!

Have you tried "shooting kitty candy"? That's what makes them running around and playfull. My cat is 15 years and still runs, jumps and make sneaky attacks to those cat snack thingies. I use those anti furrbal snacks, lay them on the ground and with a finger "shoot" them away. Later you can do more difficult tricks, like putting snacks under a up side down clear cup or something. Succes guarenteed!

I buy those anti furr/hairball snacks anywhere, they're from whiskas. But i see that you live in the uk, looked it up for you, but it seems it isnt available in the uk. Maybe you can ask ur local petstore if they have something similair from a different brand. But for playing the "shooting game" you can use anything you want really. Hope that it was helpfull!

Those antihairball snacks have been brilliant. I'd also recommend the conditioning tablets and cod liver oil for older cats. I am going to try the shooting candy. Mewser isn't that bright and will just stare at my fingers I reckon... Thank you for letting me know, can't wait to try it!
