Turns out the seats were reserved per Amtrack but the View didn't want to talk about it anymore. Turns out Barbara was the one who didn't check her facts. The only thing Glenn said he was wrong on was in teh end was that he walked up to Barbara not her approaching. Liberal hacks suck
No-Amtrack does not take reservations. I have confirmed this. That does not mean that some employee on the train (conductor) may have tried to hold a few seats for well known celebraties. That could have and probably did happen. But what didn't happen was Walter's or Goldberg calling Amtrack and making a reservation. I think that Beck was upset that he wasn't considered a worthy celebraty and thats why he embellished the story on his radio program.
No he was pointing out how limo liberals generally like to make rules for everybody but them to follow and like to spend everybody else money but not their own. Glenn had a report on his show where the Amtrak folks did an investigation and they reported to him on his show live that while it is true that Amtrak does not make reservations someone from the Views staff did setup the police escort and reserved seats with Amtrak personel.
I can confirm this. Amtrack confirmed that ABC did indeed call ahead and reserve those seats. It was in fact Goldberg and Walters who went off half cocked before checking the facts. That's why they don't want to talk about it any more. Ironic.

It's true about the US however, we are slipping into a very bad situation. This has come from Obama mostly because he's clueless or deliberately damaging the country. Our fuel position because of phony environmentalism and the speculation that drove prices up came from leftists and detonated the credit crisis set up by leftists. Canadian Banks have done a much better job than US banks in keeping a good position ... it's not the banks so much per sey as the regulations foisted on US banks that forced lending to unqualified borrowers. No-Amtrack does not take reservations. I have confirmed this. That does not mean that some employee on the train (conductor) may have tried to hold a few seats for well known celebraties. That could have and probably did happen. But what didn't happen was Walter's or Goldberg calling Amtrack and making a reservation. I think that Beck was upset that he wasn't considered a worthy celebraty and thats why he embellished the story on his radio program.
