heyy, i am just wondering about the lg viewty. When i select my message tone, its a full legnth song but when i recieve a text message, if only rings for about 6 secongs. is there any chance of you being to help me extend the message tone legnth?

The 3 customisable profiles are extra ones to create you own type of profile. For instance you may want a different ringing tone for when you are at work or in a business environment than the one you use when at home or out with friends.

You have the ability to change everything explained in the tutorial for the other profiles as you do for the customisable ones.

The Viewty supports YouTube mobile only not the normal website as you see it on your PC.

If you are going to use YouTube we would recommend a unlimited internet bundle which normally costs around £7-8 depending on your network.

Hi Danny,

That sounds like a possible network fault to us, perhaps whilst on the phone to T-Mobile ask them to send you a SIM update message sometimes that can help to get rid of the icon.

Another thing to bear in mind that both 3 and T-Mobile will start to share data networks so this could come up in the future again as they form this partnership.

This is mainly a network feature but try this - Menu > Call Settings > Call Divert > No Answer > Tap Sub Menu - bottom left of screen > Set Waiting Time > Select 30 seconds.

Sometimes the networks can do this for you over the phone for longer but this does depend on which network. We hope this helps!

Hi Danny,

If the handset won't allow you to do it this means that T-Mobile have a divert control lock on your account meaning that certain settings you won't be able to change without them - this is to help customers and prevent them from changing various network settings by accident.

All you need to do is call T-Mobile and they'll extend the rings to the maximum they can. Sometimes they'll give you a code and other times they can do it from their computers!

Yes absolutley :)

Just jump into Profiles to set message and ring tones as MP3's, etc.

To set your wallpaper just go to Settings > Dispay/Screen and then change it to your picture :)

To remove the clock widget from the home screen all you need to do is go to:

Menu > Settings > Screen > Clock & Calendar > Do not show > Save
