  • R.I.P he was great great and funny as hell

  • the music ruined it

  • The video would have been better if you didn't use the music, but instead the actual movie lines. Just a thought.

  • Thanks for all and Rest in Peace.

  • oh noes :o(

  • @dalejr88 My sentiments exactly!

    Rgards,

    Rhysz

  • "Surely you can't be serious.."

    "I am serious...and don't call me Shirley."

  • @Dusty341 I posted thAT ON tWITTER ^^

    Regards,

    Rhysz

  • "Who are you are how did you get in here"

    "I'm a llocksmith, and I'm a locksmith"

  • @chthonios LOL

    Regards,

    Rhysz

  • "Nice beaver..." I think I fell in love with the man at that moment. Thank you, Leslie.

  • @philhellenes THANK YOU I JUST HAD IT STUFFED!

  • His best comedy work is still in Police Squad!

  • @SAsgarters I loved that show!

    Regards,

    Rhysz

  • some of the absolute best 1 liners in the world come from Leslie Nielsen. He will be missed for his comedic genius, but he also did some "serious work" in his earlier years. It's actually hard to watch some of that after seeing his comedy though hehe.

  • @tattooskin72 I totally agree..... Here's to Leslie!

    Regards,

    Rhysz

  • Ahhhh that's a bummer. I love this guy.

  • @Hereticbooks I still love him BTW.....

    Regards,

    Rhysz

  • @Rhysz1

yeah....there's no doubt that he was a well seasoned actor, however, after some of the funny roles he played, it was hard to take him seriously on the more serious roles after that. That's because of me, not because of any lack of talent on his part.

  • @Hereticbooks it's called typecasting ^^

    Regards,

    Rhysz

  • @Hereticbooks Good point...............but as far as pre-Naked Gun, he was really easy to take seriously.........he convincingly played a psycho in Creepshow (which came out the same year as the short-lived Police Squad tv series).

  • @lurch321

That's true! I saw him on "Creepshow," and it was a convincing role. The man was very talented...but somewhere down the line he became "typecasted." But I always had a smile when I saw him in any role. He was great!

  • Damn, I'd seen him in so many movies, but never actually knew his name. Thanks for the upload Rhysz

  • @Anghellik9 I hope he's happy with the idea that we miss him and that we apreciated his body of work.

    Regards,

    Rhysz

  • AW that is sad, I loved him

  • @Tylzen So am I, he should have gotten a lot more respect than just being Frank Drebin!

    Regards,

    Rhysz

  • He was one of my favorites.

  • @TheCurmudgen Same here

    Regards,

    Rhysz

  • He will be sadly missed,

And Forbidden Planet is a true classic.

  • @spaceman300 Aye, it was weird seeing him as the handsome hero after I got used to him as Drebin...

  • @Rhysz1 Me too,

  • @spaceman300 Did you ever see him in his more dramatic roles?

    Regards,

    Rhysz

  • @Rhysz1 Yes mate, When he was in T.V. like Ironside, Kojak, Columbo and other shows like that.

Oh and not forgetting Surf Ninjas ;)

  • He will be missed. Most of todays comedy/parody flicks are pale imitations and cheap rip-offs of his work.

He made us laugh, a lot.

  • @AGrandt Exactly that's why I felt the need to post something...

    Regards,

    Rhysz

  • i just saw that he had passed right before checking YT, i loved Police Squad. he was one of my favs.

  • @VoodooSixxx Yes, it's just weird that all of my childhood 'heroes' are dying now...... GRRRRRRR

    Regards,

    Rhysz
