Thanks, I was making a zippo lighter and I didn't know how to make the holes in the bit at the top, look on my channel in a week and you can see my lighter with flame :)

One question. After doing that if you turn to smooth view it gets all messy. Any suggestions?

@rob30th before boleaning, draw an edge through the last selected object (the edge is on the object you select first, but it has to intersect with the "cylinder" in this case)

@rob30th select all edges expect the holes and then smooth may work
