@2012goingNutz : motor overheated??...not so much junior...it hit a brick boundary after a couple beers like the description says. Not only does it not overheat, brushless/lipo electrics KILL nitros on a daily basis....hence why in most cases it's deemed an unfair advantage in nitro classes.

@ericmindy : The Rustler VXL already comes with bearings...but with your, yes!...upgrade to bearings. It will be faster and lower the heat in the motor, tranny, and driveline.

@Captan6pack : I used to run both...nitro was better and faster in the 80s but today it's all about brushless electric. I like it so much I sold all my nitros years ago. With technologies like brushless and LIPO batteries you can have an rc like this one that does 65-70 mph right out of the box and last for an hour on a charge. It's excellent!

@Captan6pack : Oh yes!....the lipo in the car in the video is a 8000mah 3s...it's a huge brick...lol. Also don't forget with helis they're expending power 100% of the time during flight....with cars/trucks you can 'rest', plus at speed you hve only to maintain speed.  Main amp draw is only on acceleration...takes much more juice to accelerate from a stop to 20 mph than to maintain 70 mph.

Electric draw backs are run time, but you can have more then one battery pack. A battery change is just as easy as refilling a tank with nitro. It is generally more reliable, especially for those who have trouble keeping the nitro engines tuned. Nitro's draw backs are fuel cost, noise volume, and messiness of the fuel and oil. Much more I don't have the room to write about.
