  • You complain so much! Do you want a butler to open the back door and carry you into the backseat or what! All you have to do is pull a handle and it lifts.

  • “you have to find these little bars ... “ oh that whingey voice ((

  • lol at the people bashing GM cars while trying to prove that Land Rovers are reliable. Don't get me wrong, I love Land Rovers but they are just awful with reliability.

  • Land Rovers will last forever, but you will replace a lot of little things to get there.

  • 2.20, they certainly are not hard to find in an emergency - what a gonk.

  • I agree with you adrian... I have an LR3 and it has lasted longer than the Ford I had. The only issue I have every had are the suspension bushing started to make noise after 120,000 miles but I replaced them for no more than it would take for a domestic US car. It is VERY reliable as long as you take care of it. Those that have problems with it just put gas in it and start driving. That is the wrong move for this vehicle and you will pay for it in the end.

  • i own 2009 range rover HSE i and freaking love the thing i was thinking about buying the new range rover but i find it pointless there isnt much difference to me in my opinion just engine wise and push start but then again thats just me i rather buy the land rover LR4 its much better choice. just cause its cheaper in price dont mean anything there still great suvs.

  • wat the fuck is he talking about ? land rovers long term reliability has not been good ? give me a fucking break . bet u any money he drives an american made metal junk.

  • Are you going to do a review of the Lincoln Navigator?

  • Anyone have experience with the LR4 in snow, ice and minus 40 degree weather? I'm searching for safety testing results with this vehicle as well. Suggestions? Input?

  • NO THERE NOT RELIABLE!!!!!!! I OWN 2 IN MY LIFE LR2 AND A LR3 AND BOTH THE BRAKES WENT OUT AFTER 2 YEARS

  • @joewashington202 Um...Brakes are something that wears out and on a new car 2 years is about par for the course

  • @joewashington202 That is not reliability, fool, that is regular wear and tear. Let's put a 400 puond woman on your back and see if you can stop running quickly. So if you replace your wipers is that reliability? Did your engine stome working? Tranny? what about the A/C?

  • @jokawood Exactly right. These cars are statistically the least reliable cars in the UK yet I've never seen one broken down. There's a lot more to go on wrong on one of these compared to a basic car and if you can afford one you should be able to afford the maintenance.

  • did I hear correctly, he said: "... has not been good..."? LR is not relaible? he must have missed something...

  • Little more than a status symbol in the ghetto nowadays! Sports "stars", drug dealers and people who don't know enough to realize they are paying for a big expensive box because they saw it on some rap video. What's the phrase... "just say no"

  • I would really like it if land rover offered this in the US with the turbodiesel. Then the mpg would be SO much better and this would be very competitive. I personally think the LR4 is one of the best looking SUVs out there, but the poor reliability and mpg just make it such a poor daily driver.

  • i heard you guys riped the Cadillac Esclade a New @sshole lol i love consumer reports!!

  • In the US Land Rover is one of the worst car companies.

  • It would be great if it was a Diesel

  • @XephronZ here in brasil it is 3.0TDV6 (turbo diesel)

  • "How does the Land Rover stack up?"-Awkward pause-

I think I'm going to unsubscribe unless you guys can find a decent presenter. He complains about the stupidest things. Like the long reach into trunk.

  • guy whines too much

  • It never ceases to amaze me how much Consumer Reports misses the mark on their car reviews. He spent 30 seconds talking about off road features...about as long as he did talking about the *fussy* tailgate. Oooh, you have to open it in two parts - quit being lazy. If you buy a Land Rover and the tailgate is an issue, you probably couldn't give a hill of beans about anything the car was actually designed for.

  • Im very dissapointed with the new lr4. I had a 2006 land rover lr3 and decided to upgrade to a 2011 lr4. Ive had the lr4 for about a month now and have only had it at my actually home for probably a week. Ive had to take it back to the land rover dealer ship three times already. The day after i bought it, it wouldnt even start, now the whole navigation/radio system completely crashed, and now the mini fridge wont work. Im having many problems with this vehicle and am extremely mad.

  • So true... the "reliability" issues are long gone. There's no other vehicle on the road that I would trust more than a Land Rover. The complaints are petty and unwarranted. My next purchase WILL be an LR4....

  • @buynike I had one of this, and I can tell you A LOT OF PROBLEMS!, with only 30000 miles, such a fine car, but a crab in quality issues. Would never have one. You want quality and a good ride, go germans !

I tell you, quality issues would be forever till a japanese or german company buy the brand.

  • at 3:10; it says Premium Fuel Recommended, not required. There's a difference.

  • @hehh543

The dentist also recommends your brush your teeth.

  • All off road suvs reviews from you guys are just simply annoying. The people that buy these vehicles don't care about how hard it is to reach a button or how uncomfortable the ride is. Please, can we have a reviewer thats to the point and stop pointing nonsense things?

  • what a shite review.where's the MPG figures.

  • great fun vehicle but get extended warranty, it will be in the shop for some sort of electrical issue on and off maybe 16 weeks of the year. Loved it, but hated the constant need for repairs

  • A range rover is better. He's trying too hard anyways. 'bash the horn'...LOL

  • @nicolaisidek range rovers dont have as good as a ride and the land rover can do more

  • Not reliable ? If you wanted a good 4x4 SUV for the money and reliable, buy a Toyota FJ cruiser.

  • extremely unreliable and very expensive to repair.

  • you have to be a fucking lazy arse to be complaining that the "tailgate" (whatever that is) is "kinda fussy to use" because it doesnt close with a button

    brilliant car

  • I never really seem to understand what the fuck a silly yank tries to complain about one of the most refined European car when its famed for its reliability and an excellence in combining all terrain comfort perhaps the only downside is the price but then again you get a lot for your money. Quality, not like a glued together GM shit.

    Cheers

  • @adrianitaaguilera In America Land/Range Rovers are always at the bottom in reliability ratings, which is why they don't sell more. Nobody wants to buy something that will end up in the shop every three weeks.

  • @adrianitaaguilera you dumb ass brits don't know what reliability is in America. I'm not sure about pricing across the pond but here LRs are extremely expensive for little reliability. Luxury? yes, overall a good looking and desireable swagger.

  • @adrianitaaguilera Your absolutely right. I have a 1995 Land Rover Range Rover LWB, and everything on it works. Except for the engine, which had to be rebuilt. And the air suspension which had to be replaced. And I replaced the radiator. And the transmission. And the front differential. And both computers. And the coolant tank. And the brake lines. And the radio (which I actually haven't gotten around to fixing yet). But apart from that, everything works just fine.

  • @adrianitaaguilera you obviously know nothing if you think land rovers are reliable. we aren't talking about GM here.

  • @rocketballa4life GM cars are shitty ass pieces of crap

  • @adrianitaaguilera LAND ROVERS ARE FAMOUS FOR RELIABILITY? :DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

AHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAH I LOLED SO HARD WHEN I SAW YOUR comment :DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

YOU have clearly never owned a Land Rover :DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDd

  • @adrianitaaguilera Too bad the Brits don't have an Auto Industry anymore...it's either Chinese, German, or Indian...Jaguar? Indian Owned, Yanks Engineered!

    Cheers

  • @cargueone1971 The British do not have an Auto Industry anymore?? Jaguar and Land Rover and designed and built in England as well as Rolls Royce technology, Lotus, McClaren, etc. Also the majority of F1 teams are based in the UK. Do these not represent and "Auto Industry" All Ford achieved when they built Jaguars was to turn them into rich man's Mondeo!

I have nothing against Americans or their achievements in technology, i'm just defending my country and the industry you claim doesn't exist!

  • @adrianitaaguilera Have you ever owned a Land Rover? I have and I must say they are not reliable in any shape or form.

  • @She11y I have and I loved it...my favorite car I've ever owned. Unfortunately I had to cutback on stuff and had to get rid of the payment. I would get another one too. A lot of people, especially us Americans that are pretty hard on cars and dont do maintenance properly. I always stayed ahead of the game with ours and never had a problem. Maybe I was just lucky too...

  • @adrianitaaguilera Famed for it's reliability? Only a Brit could say that with a straight face. Having said that, Land Rover has managed to climb out of their perennial last place in reliability surveys thanks to Ford's management. BTW lay off GM. Vauxhall is a GM brand and has provided plenty of employment for you guys. Pathetic ingrate.

  • @adrianitaaguilera

If it weren't for the Yanks, you'd be driving fucking Mercedes and BMWs.

  • @Toomanynames123 lol that's not a bad thing dumbass

  • @adrianitaaguilera- LMAO..you brits think you're #1 at anything. All you brits do is hunch over your laptop near the furnace and find any american vehicles on youtube to spit at. In this video a yank reviewed a LR and you guys can't take criticism easily and you brits say yanks are so sensitive...BRITS ARE WORSE! Why does it always have to be a Brit vs Yank evertime american products are involved?Negative comments are so popular with Brits..low life people. My LR4 is crap for an SUV.

  • @adrianitaaguilera LMAO...that silly yank is probably more intelligent than you'll ever be when it comes to automobiles.

  • I drive this at work, its ok, it does well in the snow.I prefer my Grand Cherokee.

  • Who drives adults on back seats?

Who buys land rover to carry 2 tons of stuff u can buy a van its cheaper and

WHO THE FUCK bitches about buttons if they are hard to reach grow up close your seat or fucking deal with it.

Every review from consumer report is the same hard to reach buttons and adults can't sit in the back and the reason is if u fail at life so hard that u have to sit in the back with 20+ years u aren't supposed to be comftable

  • @TheBuco69 well he actually made some good points. i cant guess just by reading this you have never actually owned an suv. lets face it they may not always be driving adults around but the average owners of land rovers have families, so what about the soccer mom with a teenager and friends or for someone who loves to go off roading and the position of the horn is actually very important. if i pay over 40,000 for an suv i expect this

  • 70% off all land rovers ever made are still on the road today

    (1948-today/1.8+million made).

    case in point ITS RELIABLE!!!!!!!

  • @phanchochan

NO! Those are Defenders, not Range Rovers, Discos, etc.!

You ABSOLUTELY cannot tell someone that this LR4 shares more than a name with the Defender; you wouldn't be doing THE DISCOVERY any justice!

  • @phanchochan They are still on road is because after paying for a Land Rover, they can't afford to buy a new car for the next 30 years. Car price + countless expensive repairs and horrible gas mileage.

  • @phanchochan that's for the defender, not the entire line, BUT it still is impressive

  • @phanchochan AAHAHHAHAHA.... Dont make me laugh :DDD

  • @phanchochan Hahaha! Really? Thats why they depreciate so quickly. Too troublesome with electrical stuff.

  • @phanchochan maybe they are still on the road, but i would bet that anything electronic doesn't work, and that they have the worth of the car in new parts that have been added over the years.

  • @phanchochan 70% may be on the road, but that comment doesn't count the repair bills!

    :D

  • @Noobury no it is not 83k it starts at 48k nice try though

  • @Noobury thats the price of a Range Rover

  • @Noobury

I think you're thinking of the Range Rover

  • so fucking expensive! 83k~

  • ill get one foe sure

  • the armrest adjuster looks like it belongs in a ford windstar

  • This guy knows nothing. What an idiot! the tailgate is designed to be stood on, how lazy are you that you cant shiout a door, as for relaiability, nonsense, My Diwsco has given no problems, unlike my neighbours crappy BMW and even the JD power rates it good now.

  • @aakeister wut da fuck u no bout cars. leave that to the engineers and ppl who really work on that.. the land rover sucks, its such an ugly car.

  • @jvrdlc Listen to your idiocy! Probably not even old enough to drive or able to afford a beater.

  • @jvrdlc

since when does exterior styling one of the major criteria for wat makes a good car?

  • @jvrdlc I'm a mechanical engineer and I own 3 Land Rovers. They don't suck, they just need to be taken care of. Consumer reports and JD powers are a bit off, the Land Rovers of old were a PITA, but the new ones are considerably more reliable.

  • @aakeister Thanks for mentioning the intent of the tailgate design!

  • What he said at the end I can agree with.

  • consumer reports manages to find faults in anything. geez.

  • @minibus1351 thats their job

  • back outerior looks ugly
